I had fun watching the show! Its so nice to be entertained by something handmade and operated vs computer generated. I had no idea this place existed. Also take care of yourself with that cold, bad flu season this year and it can wipe you out. Your dedication to the daily vlog is admired and appreciated. Get some rest and we'll see you tomorrow.

The theater is not being remodeled, but is being turned into a high use living apartment...
I guess they are only keeping part of the building as a tribute to Bob Baker.

Well this was one video I thought I am not going to like too much. Boy was I wrong!!! I loved that! I actually got tears in my eyes from the sweetness and innocense of it all. A bygone novelty that you could plainly see had the little kids totally enthrawled. Thank you for sharing that Jordan!!

That was so cool! I probably won't ever make it to LA so glad I got to see this. Also, hearing the children enjoy it made my heart flutter. Hopefully some children will be moved by these shows and want to learn more so that marionettes do not die out completely in the future.
Hahaha. .. neva 2 big 4 the little kid in u 2 come out. I had a permanent grin on my face all the way thru. They r so skilled very entertaining.
Hi Jordan...I have just 4 words for todays vlog...
"UH-DOOR-UH-BULL"!! Thats a dying art. REALLY enjoyed the "Vaudeville" sound/feel! The children behaved incredibely, unless u edited out them fussing! P.s. That was a D-BAG move at the end, the parent walked right in fr of the show!! Keep up the good work!!

I believe it's either been slated for demolution or has been demolished.. the Bob baker marionette theater was forced to relocate.

Au fond de moi, je me sens comme une marionnette à fils, et mon plus grand désir artistique serait d'être transformé en pantin de bois, et jouer, jongler du pied, dribbler, dans ma tenue de Football (tenue du pantin) entre les mains du Marionnettiste pour l'Eternité.
J'ai beaucoup de respect pour le métier de Marionnettiste, car je sais que si j'étais une poupée à fils entre les doigts d'un Manipulateur de marionnettes, je ne pourrais rien faire d'autre que de jouer et de me laisser manipuler entre ses mains, pour amuser le public. Un simple pantin, un jouet... !
J'ai l'Âme d'une marionnette à fils depuis Toujours, et j'aimerais tellement jouer dans un Castelet, entre les doigts subtils du Marionnettiste, comme je me l'imagine. Sentiment pouvant être difficile à décrire...
Je suis une marionnette à fils pour l’Éternité...
