Rafah isn't the precursor of the invasion. It is the end of the invasion. It's the last area not yet invaded while the rest are. This is the end of the invasion. The next phase. Occupation. Can't blame the Israeli military though. Israel did leave Gaza and removed Israeli troups back in 2005. Then H@mas attacked Israel. Seems like they want to be occupied after all.
