I love Javik the Prothean. Best lines. Best interactions. Best weapon (particle rifle), best biotic powers. Pure awesomeness on a plate, delivered cold with a generous topping of vengence to chill the atmosphere. I love how he teases the crew, offends Tali, Legion and EDI, and to top it off, makes a comment about the consumption of Salarian liver being a delicy in his cycle. I want a DLC about the Protheans war with the Reapers with Javik as the main character!

It's a symptom of raging guilt and a desire to clense ones' self of a traumatizing experience, such as Javik having to slit the throats of his men. In this case, Javik actually had blood on his hands, whereas Lady MacBath only halucinated that she had blood on hers. I thought it was a cool little reference :)
