  • Building Iconic Ford Model T | Revell Model kit step by step
    A piece of humanity history build step to step. This iconic model kit car was the first industrialised car. The Model T Roadster model kit by @revell is the most challenging model I’ve ever built.
    Hope you enjoy it like I did building it!

    stupidly tearing up as I watch this. I'm trying so damn hard to get my Ford T to look that good. but I have no chance. Secretly enjoying that Henry Ford said : customers can have their Ford T in any color, as long as that color is black :) .. loved it.

    Hi Pablo, the technique you use on black parts to give them the silver look how does that work??

    • @PabloModelkits
      @PabloModelkits  Před rokem

      Hi! All metallic parts that you want really to stand out should be painted first with gloss black undercoating, this helps highlighting all metallic colours.

    Disculpa molestandote de nuevo, en el caso especifico de este video despues de aplicar el primer negro al motor, que color le roceaste con el aerografo al mismo? y entiendo que después de esto aplicaste en pincel seco vdd? con que color lo hiciste?

    • @PabloModelkits
      @PabloModelkits  Před 10 měsíci

      Aplique pincel seco con plateado para realzar brillo en aristas y generar efecto desgaste, también podrías aplicar pincel seco con color óxido 😌

    What brand is the gunmetal that you use with the dry brush? Also where would I get something like your dry pot and what dry brushes do you use? I've never done dry brushing but would like to start doing myself on my models to give them more detail.

    • @PabloModelkits
      @PabloModelkits  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hi Beck! I use Vallejo acrylic paint, very good brand, and Artis Opus dry brushes. If you buy Artis dry brushes pack you will get dry pot, but you can easily build your own dry pot using sponge to remove the paint excesses. Thanks for asking and Merry Christmas 🎅🏼

    Excellent looking model Pablo. But one thing I did notice...I saw a bit of glue fogging on the front windshield. Do you not use the non-fogging glue for clear parts?

    • @PabloModelkits
      @PabloModelkits  Před rokem

      Yes, you’re right, I just messed up that, in the bright side, each model kit is a learning lesson, now I have clear glue to avoid that happening. Thanks for feedback 🥰

    • @PabloModelkits

      Depende de las partes te recomiendo un pegamento u otro… por ejemplo las plásticas con un pegamento especial para plástico y las transparentes con un pegamento que al secar no quede blanco

    Hola buena noche. podrìas describir un poco el proceso de pintado del motor x favor. Gracias. Excelente trabajo

    • @PabloModelkits
      @PabloModelkits  Před 2 lety

      Claro! Aunque depende mucho de la complejidad del modelo de motor a construir los pasos que sigo son los siguientes:
      1 - ensamblado: es mejor ensamblar primero y pintar después.
      2 - color principal: preferiblemente con aerógrafo.
      3 - pincel seco/detalles: con un pincel pintar uno a uno los detalles con colores secundarios y usar técnica de pincel seco para dar un toque realista de desgaste.
      5 - ensamblar con el resto del vehículo

      @@PabloModelkits Según el video, utilizaste primer negro ó pintura negra brillante? después rociaste color alumino? y finalmente pincel seco con que color?. Disculpa tantas preguntas me gustò mucho ek acabado que le diste y soy un novato en este hobby. Agradezco tu tiempo

    • @PabloModelkits
      @PabloModelkits  Před 2 lety

      Toda la razón muy observador! Repito pasos.
      1 - ensamblado: es mejor ensamblar primero y pintar después.
      2 - base imprimación negra.
      3 - base negro brillante: sobre el negro los metalizados brillan mas.
      4 - color metalizado al gusto (aluminio, cromado, metal, acero…)
      5 - opcional color principal: preferiblemente con aerógrafo. Sobre metalizados brillantes con capas anteriores el brillo y profundidad se destaca.
      6 - pincel seco/detalles: con un pincel pintar uno a uno los detalles con colores secundarios y usar técnica de pincel seco para dar un toque realista de desgaste.
      7 - ensamblar con el resto del vehículo

      I saw this recommendation in some tutorial, theoretically kits include a protection layer that prevent paint to stick well, but all are theories, I don't clean most of the kits and paint sticks well, so you might be right 😁
