This actually my bosses car, he did it the right way, he had this engine sitting in our store for many years, and actually built the car around the engine. The man is a legit ford-head.

Hey Scottie, this 55 is smokin hot. Thanks for the great vids I can't believe how this stands. The color combo's a knockout. The blue suede in the center, blue stitching in interior jumps out unreal. The wheels work the design is awesome, Rag top sets it off. You know! It's a 55 Chevy it's a rap except the motor!!!!!

Love the payback! One of the fastest Chevys at the Pomona Winternationals in 1968 was a 1960s Corvette with a Ford SOHC motor!

My 55 chevy came from Autorama when the car was 8 years old. I was 16 and delivered pizza in Brightmore.

@@ScottieDTV yeah my mother ran the Western union booth at the show and had a 55 bel Air till was stolen in 60. My 55 was slightly modified and was sitting in front of the W.U. booth. She bought it for my first running car. Blood red body with Pearl white top and Nomad interior. It was the 64 show but 63 is POSSIBLE. I enlisted in Oct 64 and it was stolen in 66ish. I herd it went to Farmington hills mi. Maybe a Cop got it as a abandon car but it was stored in my friend's mom's garage ect. Ha, I changed engines like some people change oil.

Love the dashboard a copy of a 57 Ford Custom 300. I like the front grill pattern, much tighter than the original. However, I would like to see the same grill or similar only smaller, less wider like the modern cars. That would set it apart from a lot of 55 customs. Otherwise this is beautiful. your talking about the 2017 gt40? he already has a 2017 gt40? (pre-order I assume) wow! Im told its called liquid blue but was never released to production by Ford, so no color code exist as of yet, so I dont know how to get that code after an hour of research on internet came up with nothing on it. I even sent G3 rods an email and they never replied.

it's a gorgeous car with hot color nice details on the trunk matching interior.the motor is nice and its shined up well, but, still I'd liked to see a 454 in it, too ,but no complaints. A ballsy move on the FORD IN CHEVY..therefore, payback is a great name! lol
