Sadly the Sofa Safaris have come to an end so I am going to start again, I enjoyed them so much. I would have missed many of the earlier episodes anyway, so I plan to spend a half hour on Sunday mornings watching Luke and Chad. Wonderful series!
I highly recommend this series. We were lucky enough to have Luke as our guide on an unforgettable trip to Tanda Tula a few years back. He's incredibly knowledgeable and loves sharing what he knows. You're in good hands.
Thank you so much for the lovely opportunity to join you on this safari! We really enjoyed it. If there is a baobab around, we would love to see it. Thanks again!
I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip round Tanda Tula, Luke. It brought it all back again, I thought the commentary was excellent but how about introducing yourself loud and clear at the beginning of the outing. I enjoyed seeing the yellow hornbills and look forward to seeing other birds. The bit about the combretum was also interesting . I didn't know that you could use the seedpods for tea. Lots of interesting information about the animalsl too. The photography too doesn't let you down either - nice and clear . You can almost smell the bushveld. Thank you Burford
It's Kathy from Canada. Luke is an amazing guide! I learned so much from him - stuff I still remember today! This is a great idea! Love it and so want to come back! Aside from the animals - can you talk about the one bush that you had us chew the leaves of? It produces lots of tannin as a defence mechanism and even warns nearby bushes of predators? I very rarely watch a 13 minute video online - but this one hooked me all the way through. Hi Luke and Brit!
Kathy, its wonderful to hear from you and such a nice comment, thank you! I actually almost spoke about that tree while shooting yesterday but we had "other things" to get to 😉 will definitely cover it for you in the future though! All best in this trying time!
@@lukestreetphotography That's great, thanks! I was also thinking of the millipede we had crawl on our hands. That would be cool too. Say hi to Jack for me!
