Graham when I first started watching your videos and I was in a very dark place because I had lost my husband to a brain tumor. Your kindness and hard work helping these hurting animals helped me to move forward one day at a time. I’m 71 and meeting you is on my bucket list. You’re a fine young man who it’s obvious you love your family and your work. Bless your heart and soul for being a healer to animals and humans alike 💕💕💕
Hugs to you, happy you have found peace and comfort here.
Love and hugs ❤ xxx
Bless your heart, I'm so glad you're doing better. In Graeme's group we take care of one another, I'm glad you're part of this herd! 💜
He helped me get thru my sister dying of bile duct cancer. My sister watched too, to take her mind off of pain and impending death. She was 44. She's been gone a year.
I understand and empathize completely!
My heart breaks for both of you who have lost your loved one. I'm glad you found a measure of peace in someone who clearly has a massive heart of his own. I hope you continue to heal ❤
You absolutely dont need to apologize to us for focusing on your patient
Yup. That's what we're here for!
Every time you have to use a nozzle to separate the claws, I can only think of the foam toe separators that get used when they're painting toenails during a pedicure. It's nice that your ladies are getting such nice spa treatment.
😂😂😂
So true!!!! 😂😂😂
Is there something you can spray on the hoof to help with the pain while you are fixing the hoof?
@@user-cq7sg3ok9h That might come under medical treatment which would need a licence.
Also it might cause issues when the cow leaves the crush as they wouldn't have feeling in their claw/feet and they could injure themselves further. Plus it might take time to take hold which is more time the cow is in the crush which would stress them out and you can't leave the cow in the crush until it wears off as that would cause stress.
The best thing to do in this case is work as swiftly as practicable so that the problem is alleviated and the cow is back with its herd mates.
@@user-cq7sg3ok9h hoof trimming doesn't touch living tissue, is literally cutting nails. Hoof horn is dead tissue, no point on using some numbing agent on it.
I love how G speaks to and about the the cows, the “girls,” as if they’re human, as if they understand everything he says. Very cool. It shows his deep and true compassion for the cows and their well being.
Graeme, this was difficult to watch. You can almost feel her pain. I extend gratefulness on behalf of all the girls for all the effort you put into caring for them.
Hi Graham & the team, i watch your videos religiously and have never mentioned this but i suffer from depression & watching just takes my thoughts to a different place & feel so much better for it, so please keep them coming.
❤🩹
Sending you lots of love and a hug in case you need it ❤
I hope that you and anyone else in your position can access the help you need
Hey Neil , Hang in there Fellow Herd Member we are like a 2.27M Family here & Greame is our Guru with his calming & soothing voice . Then you throw Kev & Graige in the mix OMG they are so funny together . Also go watch him playing with The Highland Calves OMG I could watch that every day 🐮they are beyond Adorable . Love Anita
Prayers for a peaceful heart and mind for you moving forward.
I appreciate the chill vibe of: “hanging out with your dad on the farm as he teaches you his craft and sprinkles in life lessons”.
That gentle but stern:
“Yes, I make mistakes too”
Made me want to forgive myself and be better 😅
Perfect. Full marks.
Such a great human. Thank you for giving this creature relief. Shout out to Kevin and Craigie Boy ❤
Your love for those critters shows! And the fact that you teach your skill is wonderful for the cows and those you are teaching! You're a good man, Graeme
Just wanted to give you a heads up up that a channel called SatisfyingHoof is stealing your videos
Report the shit out of it
Really
Oh yea they are
I searched them to report them but nothing came up. Hopefully they’ve been taken down!
@@supernova11711 I've reported them when the CZcams algorithm sends it to me (versus search for them). Haven't seen them in a while, hopefully enough people reported them.
Thank you Graeme for all you do! You definitely are: The COW WHISPERER! ✨🌟🐮🐮🐮🌟✨🎉 Not only are you a Blessing to the Sweet Cows, you are a Blessing to all of us as well! We love all,of your Support Team too!! U GUYS ROCK!!!
Keep up the good work! God bless all of you and all the Beautiful Cows!
🙏🏻💜🐮🐮🐮💜🙏🏻🌟✨🌟✨🌟✨🌟✨
Never apologize for focusing on making the poor girls and boys feel better!
I should have found your channel way earlier as i amstudying veterinary medicine and want to get into cattle and your video shows and explains everything so nicely + i just had hoof infections and ways to treat them where we exactly spoke about that cow shoe. Very fascinating
I'm sure she's feeling a lot better already! That had to hurt like the dickens! Thanks for helping all of these cows out! You do such a great job! Stay blessed! Love you guys! 💖🥰❤️🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
To start I am a retired disabled veteran from the US air force, and I have been watching your U Tube show for about 6 months and love your shows. I live near Witchia kansas the temp hear was 82 F or 40 centigrade. My wife and I were in the highlanbmds back in 1983 (my wife was from Peterborough
Cambridgeshire England). We have been married for over 43 years. I love watching your show when you cragieboy and Kevin are with you. Keep up the shows. I watch your shows about 4 hours daily. And I plan on getting some of your merchandise soon.
You remind me of my dad, he was navy and loves youtube videos! I've been thinking of showing him Hoof GP videos lately, they're so easy to watch many of. Very satisfying. Thanks for your service & I hope the hot weather isn't hitting you all too much!
This was an interesting one, Graeme! Very detailed trim for the lady. I'm sure she will thrive and do well healing. Love me some scummy pus 😂 Retired Nurse here 🇺🇸 Cheers to all of you🎉
They are mooing their heads off because they know that the one, they only Hoof GP is in the house and they want a turn with you.
Like a bunch of old ladies when they see a hunk
@@mirjana72mbas an old lady, I can attest to that 😂
@@hippomom26 I can also attest to that too
Moopies
@@cronoros Hahahahaha! 🐄
Graeme that was impressive! It was a very delicate area around the wall horn and you absolutely aced it! I hope she gets to feeling much better now!! Thanks!
I while ago, I noticed that I automatically stop breathing each time you make a stroke across the hoof! Sometimes I clench my jaw and even my stomach muscles (the tougher the "cut", the more I clench 😂). 🤷🏻♀️
I am convinced that each time you uncover a problem, the animal is so relieved. I saw how she was much calmer from when you first exposed the issue compared to before you did it. Just goes to show how much pain relief you're giving, and how quickly you can do it!
I like the farm noises and the cows...it adds a sense of satisfaction to the whole process...I hope this little lady is feeling better after her time with you. I'm so glad there are caring hoof trimmers taking care of their feet.
I love that you always address how sharp the knife is and how dangerous it can be if you're not careful. It's comforting to hear how important it is each time 😊
i loved it when you apologised to the cow for saying her foot smelled bad. this is why you are the only hoof GP i can watch.. i haven't seen another one be so kind to the coos x
Love the sound of cows in the background, don't worry about it ❤
My merch arrived in Australia today! Thanks mate, keep on keeping on!
Wait did you get the new Highland Cow t-Shirt already ???? If so that means mine is on it`s way ,🏃♀that is me running to the post office or checking my email 😉
I can’t tell you how fast my heart beats until you’re finished, and she’s comfortable. I swear, I hold my breath sometimes!
Thanks Graham for helping the poor cow’s hoof🙋♀️😊
I introduced an elderly friend to you videos as she has dealt with farriers and blacksmiths etc and she Saud she has never seen anyone so considerate and caring with animals like you are.this is very high praise from someone who isn't easily impressed but you definitely get a huge thumbs up from her and me
Thanks for sharing! This was a new experience! Once again your expertise amazes me, Graeme! Love and blessings boys!❤
The cows Mooing means you are busy looking out of them💚💚💚💚
👍👍👍👍👍🫵🪨 as usual can’t wait to see the next video to see how she’s coming along.
Graeme, I'm so glad you are GREAT at your craft to help these cows feel so much better 😊
Like this wonderful woman down me wrotes... you are such a kind man. We need more humans like you in this world. Respect for all living things, kindness and sense of humor in a sad situation teaching us everything can heal and get better no matter what, is a tremendous lesson. My son has severe autism. Im a single mom cuz my marriage failed because so much suffering between my exhusband ptsd from war and our son sindrome. My days are very difficult full of stress and loneliness but i watch one episode of your show before go to bed afterr my son fall asleep ( he has sleep issues too) and I get relax with a smile on my face knowing tomorrow can be a better day and time helps to heal....god bless you all!!! Thank you!
The smell is the thing i hated more than anything. We didnt have a fancy crush nor power tools when i was a teen and learned. Got the scars from a half down sharp hoof ripping me open. Gor the scars from a knife or a rasp when they pulled loose and kicked it into me.
Grew up on a hobby farm and all we ever had was about 15 maybe 20 head at a time. I was a hard head gen x that pestered them down until they finally let me get in there even with the dangers. I have ZERO regrets and loved my upbring.
That is so sweet when you called her "love".
Congrats on the NYT article!
You and your team are amazing I can’t imagine how much pain and discomfort that poor cow has and is going through the Hoof GP to the rescue 😊
Have you ever had an incident where you needed to put a block on all four hooves, not all claws, but one block per hoof? 😊
Love your work! Watching you has helped me through dark times and the loss of my father to cancer earlier this year. Just here to say i also do miss the old intro with the music!
Kevin, Craig, Graeme- you are amazing men. Thank you for sharing part of your lives with us ❤
That double intro is where it's at!
I love cattle. I love milk cows, beef cows, bulls, steers and bovine of all kinds. I love their moos and groans. I just think they are so neat.. especially their tongues- they are the weirdest things but wow.. just kinda cool. yea.. I love cows.
Hey Graham! I work for a company that grooves rubber belting for barn floors, anytime we are at a farm, hoof trimmers thank us because what we do helps TREMENDOUSLY, I watch your videos every time a new one comes out! Keep up the great work!
Thanks, Kevin. 😊
Love you Graeham and crew, the quality of your videos has improved, both the sound and video are super crisp and clear. The love you show the animals keeps me coming back to see you ❤
Dude, why you not show us how cow walks out?
I love that part!!11!!
I'm glad Graeme knew what he was looking at, to a random eye, the foot looked OK to start.
Such an insidious problem, these hoof injuries. Poor baby.
Thank you chaps. ❤️🇦🇺🏴
Held my breathe through this one❣️
8 minutes and 35 seconds? amazing
@@danielschmidt1990 Bro should probably enter in some events with that ability, right?
@@Batmann_ 100% !
Nice job, you all❤❤❤❤.
I find myself holding my breath whenever he's trimming around the ulcers!!
Love how much love you get just by being a decent human being and doing your job (which also happens to be very wholesome) this whole channel and community restores my faith in humanity
Love the content, just started the video! But I also love how, whomever is *filming* didn't note that when you lifted the flap of hoof horn at the start... Ya got BUBBLES!
We miss you glad your back ❤
Wow, a very intresting one today , congrats on you writing a book on your life . Gb
Good to see you Gareth. Snd I love Kevin. He's adorable ❤
Hope you are enjoying the change in the weather with your family. Great job on the video. Hats off to you and your team of wonderful guys.❤👍🙏💯
I learn so much every time I watch.❤
I’ve found you a year and a half since I lost my Sister who was my everything being without her has left me lost, but your videos have helped me so much to start to heal your love for your family and the animals and your unstoppable positive attitude has really helped me thank you for all you do.
Another great video Graham and the guys 👍
I really enjoy hearing the cows🎉🎉🎉
I hope I'm not becoming a nuisance, but I am a really really a big fan(even though I'm basically unknowlegable). Something about what you do and the way you do the things to make the cows and bulls as comfortable as possible.
Just for fun have you thought about doing a segment speaking your native language
(with English subtitles)? Ithink it would be a really big hoot😊. Blessings on you and all your families and friends!
I was barely breathing and tilting my phone to help you make those precise cuts 😂 my phone went into portrait mode before I realized
you have the most perfect teeth that I've ever seen,,,,,, thanks for helping the animals too
I should really stop watching these videos. Every time I peel potatoes and see a brown spot, I use my sharpest knife and pretend it's a sole ulcer 😅
😂😂😂
Glad I'm not the only one!
😂
Yep I do that too! And when I put the footrest up on the couch I pretend I'm in the crush and my hooves are going up. 😀👍
😂
Loud. That’s why I think they used cows for establishing dinosaur sounds in Jurassic movies. Glad you guys helped this girl with her toe!❤
6:45 the lighting changes and makes the perfect detailed viewing… if possible pls recreate?! Love the channel
Graeme, I appreciate your descriptive narration of what exactly you are doing and WHY; it’s a real learning experience and your description of smell is also very important as our sense of smell is our first clue of infection.
Thanks HGP!
Hopefully the cow gets better soon also i love that Scottish accent 💖
Clarkson's Farm on the TV and Hoof GP on the phone. It's a farming day for this city boy!
I used to work in college at a milk farm, and ever since, I've been in love with cows. I love your channel and love how you work on these suffering animals
Love our HGP
The cows knew “the famous HGP” was in the house so they wanted to get a moo shout out on camera - their 15 mins (or secs) of fame - compassionate, professional job as always 🥰
Thanks Kevin. 👍😆
2am suffering from Manflu, can't sleep, so watch the Hoof GP!
I love how he apologizes to the cow here 5:22 😂 it’s amazing.
Educational. Thank you for your time!
Good to watch you taking the time needed to get through this trim. I enjoy your explanations and of course, the cows, scenery, and Craig, Kevin, and everyone. -Cindy 💕🐄💕🐄
So cathartic seeing the care you give
Thank you for helping so many animals🎉❤️
Thank you from The Netherlands
A very interesting hoof, I feel so sorry for the heifer concerned, I'm sitting in my living room fascinated by your work on her hoof. Your explanations of what you are doing and why.
Thanks for giving us a window into your work.
Fabulous camera work Craigie Boy!
Bless her . I hope she gets better soon!!!🤓
Give Kevin and Craig a raise
Soo glad she's in your caring hands❤❤❤
Would that have developed into toe necrosis Graeme? Good thing you caught it either way.
I got my "The Herd" merch yesterday. Love them. Thank you!!
Thanks for the explanation of what you are doing, it adds so much to understand what you are doing.
Ouch but so satisfying
Hey, graham, yet another video that gives me someone who has never done this a small insight to your work great job, everyone 👏
This is one show where I'm glad NOT to have smell-avision! 😂
That poor girl, I hope she's a lot more comfortable with your treatment, Graham.
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
That was the best cut I have seen you do. You cleaned that up perfectly.
I got my cap and mug today, they are very cool. Thank you very much! ❤
I dont know why I'm so obsessed with watching a cows hoof get peeled away, but I am.
Wow, poor cow. So glad you're helping her.🤗
Thanks Kevin! 👍🏻🐄
It feels really weird snacking on an apple while watching hoof trimming videos 😅
Bless you and yours
thank you kevin, very cool
