Hello, Marine. I didn't even get all the way through Pile #1 reading when I stopped to open a Page Document to start my book: I am the 7th or 8th Virginia in my maternal line rooted in South Carolina. Even my daughter’s first name is Virginia. You know how there's a genre of British TV that loves to feature changing of age stories. I have often though about how my maternal line would express that beautifully. That’s a line of women throughout the history of the deep south. When you think of eight generations of women in the deep south what do you think of? We are going from “The Patriot” to “Gone With the Wind” to “The Ice Storm” to . . . now. So, we shall see. I will finish the rest of the reading.

Okay, sorry for the long delay. Life has been rough, I won’t bore you with details. I picked the first deck, because it’s on my wish list. It’s funny how many things in this reading hit accurate for me. I literally used to be a philosophy, psychology, and criminology tutor while at university, and worked as a psychology TA after. (Funny aside-in the month before watching this, I got the Leadership/Teacher card multiple times, in various readings, including the night before my birthday. I had no clue what that was about; my teaching days are long behind me.) What hit me so hard in this reading was that I generally AM able to just go with the flow and a be content, even in extremely rough times. I’m even good in emergencies. But the day I first watched this-my birthday-was rough, and I wasn’t coping as well as I usually do. Self-reflection, and focusing on others instead of myself was the key. Thank you 🙏 Also, I’ve decided to finally start working on my own tarot deck. I’ve literally been the only thing standing in my way.
