@@sersastark yeah the actor did great with that tiny bit of dialogue and the delivery or it really fit his character and the moment so perfectly. And how can a line of finally meeting family with and simple greeting to them come off as insulting and threatening. And yet also mocking them like uh huh y'all are all about family huh?
It's like from that line you can see that this is the moment he's been dreaming of, training, waiting, planing just working hard to get to this moment of his plan and enjoying it like he's savoring it. With showing the proof of his identity, heritage revealed to be part of royalty. In which also revealing what happened to his dad and him by them making lies and discarding him for a better story. He clearly has disgust hatred for them and knowing their rules like to challenge T'Challa to rule is gunna turn it all upside down.
He as a villain was one of the best with his background, history, family and childhood trauma and all he's done to get there and to take over with a goal that was beat but helped changed T'Challa's view and to reveal their true county from hiding or their 3rd world country alias cover and to use his countries power and resources to help others struggling. Like starting with the buildings where the events of How Erik's father N'Jobu was killed and discovered by his young son Erik in which his father being killed that day had gave birth to killmonger. And now it's bought to be a Wakanda outreach center for those struggling.
Sorry for babbling just a great movie with story, characters and character arcs, details and such. Not just the same old villain with some simple and recycled simple backstory of why they're bad and such just for them to fight and lose against the hero in the end of it.
I keep saying this on all videos with her in it, but I absolutely love Danai Gurira!
She was so awesome and beautiful and smart and sexy and feminine with so much grace. Love her also in The Walking Dead. I'm about to watch BP again right now. WAKANDA FOREVER will never get old.
First saw her in Walking Dead and was blown away by every scene she was in. Her depiction of PTSD was awing. And Okoye is a goddess.

I watched the movie again yesterday, when Chadwick died. I loved him as T'Challa a lot. Rest in Power, King. You will always our king of Wakanda.

Come to think of it, there is alot about M'Baku'S laugh we didn't realize, like for all we know about T'challa's tribe, how much do we really know about the Jabari tribe and all they're advancements🤓...
I thought the idea was that they alone of all the tribes had sworn off technological advancement and application, and that was why they chose to live way up in the mountains, far away from the vibranium deposits. But I don't know anything about how it was in the comics...
I remember the feeling the first time I saw this movie. I was like I think this is the best movie I've seen.
Its crazy how Marvel continues to best itself one movie after another the first Ironman movie rocked my world and changed how I looked at superhero movies ever since and since then the first Avengers blew my mind in how cool it was. Ultron was aweskme aswell. And Civil War managed to be an absolutely epic movie with some of the most memorable fights and there was no supervillians just Avengers fighting Avengers. And everytime you think it cant get better then they make Black Panther and thats awesome Killmonger was such a cool and sinister villian and contrasted Tchallas pure hearted love for Wakanda. Then they incorporate the Avengers and Wakanda in Infinity War. And its epic but at the end they break you heart by literally murdering half the cast of heroes you love. And then they dont just snap them back instantly after killing Thanos they have to work fornit and go back in time to do it. Leading the the best fight scene of all time when they all gather together inwhat I consider the best movie of all time and then Tony the man who started the whole MCU snaps out its greatest and most sinister arch nemesis sofar and they both go out together. No movie series in history has ever been so complex and intricately weaved together with such deverse stories while all flowing so well and having the best cast chemistry ever scene in film before. The MCU has truly done something magical and they deserve every billion they made off of it. I think in decades film and acting classes will have whole chapters and units on the MCU and character development and chemistry and the art of making a group of actors become a family before our eyes on screen and off the screen. Tony Stark and Peter Parker have the most convincing movie relationship in history.
Apples and oranges. Though I agree along the lines of it's one of the best MCU movies. One of my fav. Well written characters. Okoye 🥰🤗😍

I first became familiar with Black Panther after watching the Ultimate Avengers 2 animated film. Every animated version then and since is a stoic and regal figure, stern and direct.
Marvel found an actor that can emote those qualities and even add humor, effectively making T'Challa complete. R.I.P. Mr. Boseman and thank you for giving me a new favorite superhero! 🙅🏽♂️ WAKANDA FOREVER
What's so bittersweet about this is that neither my dad nor my uncle lived to see it...and they would have loved to have seen it.

We bought that blu-ray right away without question. There were some issues as all movies do but it was wonderful, have a good story, well-rounded characters, and entertaining!

It did well in profits as well so I don't understand who hated it.
If you're talking about people who says there were issues with the movie, then you're reaching as ALL movies have their issues, even the really great ones. People, including me, has issues with certain parts of the movies regarding consistency, timelines, etc. but the story was great, the characters well-rounded, an awesome sympathetic villain, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the box office numbers proved it was well-received by everyone, especially comic book fans who knew BP from a long time ago.

The film was epic! I saw it in theaters at least 4 times! My first experience seeing it, I was sitting too close to the screen. My second time seeing it, was with the damn plastic 3d glasses on. My third time, was without the glasses. And the last time, was just to relive the experience once more before it left theaters. lol! Love, love, love, LOVED THIS FILM. I own it on DVD/bluRay now.

I really Loved this movie very very and very much. I reallt love you T'challa (Black Panther). But I was sad at T'chaka when he dies at civil war. And thanks and im very very and very happy.
Someone told me that in the comics, he did disappear (different reasons) and Shuri took over, so it was intentional probably to set up Shuri as the temp Black Panther until T'challa undust himself.
