Bahu ki Vidaa (Hindi) Audiobook - Ekanki by Vinod Rastogi

Bahu ki Vidaa is an Eye-Opener Ekanki based on the ill-tradition of dowry. A daughter and daughter in law are never weighed on the same scale. A daughter is also given more importance than the daughter in law.
In monsoon, the brother (pramod) comes to his sister(Kamla) place and seeks permission from his father in law (jeevanlal) to send her with him to her maiden house to celebrate Teej(a festival celebrated in monsoon where all friends swing together). It is mandotory for females to return to their father's house for this festival for the first Teej after maarriage.
But Jeevanlal refuses to send her for want of Dowry. But he is in huge shock when his own daughter was also not sent by her in-laws for the same reason - dowry. He realizes his mistake and decides to send Kamla.
