Gane is an incredible athlete and in the octagon too he's a very intelligent fighter he gives his opponent a lot to think about, if he ever improves on his wresling and he develops that aggressive killer instinct watch out..
The battle between Jones and Gane will more likely go the distance because both fighters have never been finished in their careers so far but if that doesn't happen then I would not be that surprised because both fighters have shown that they could finish fights in multiple ways.
By the way this was an excellent interview by Ngannou and the person asking the questions ask all the right questions.
What is funny is the fact that people are talking about UFC bouts as though they were wrestling matches. Wrestling is a minimal part of the whole thing and Jones cannot hold Gane down. Minimizing Gane will be a deadly mistake for Jones.

He will resign with the UFC and fight Jon Jones for a big payday and call it quits afterwards.

Fighting Ciryl for Jones is something similar to his previous fights against Dominic Reyes and Alexander Gustafsson. I think the only time Jones would feel he's facing a different challenge was if they had put him against an explosive fighter like Ngannou.

Not sure where all the Jones wrestling talk comes from. He does not wrestle much. He literally averages just under 4 takedown attempts per fight, and successfully lands just one takedown per fight. Yes that is correct, Jones averages just one takedown per fight, and has a takedown success rate less than 50%. Where Jones shines is in the clinch. That is how I see this fight going, Jones clinching Gane up against the cage, and just pecking away to rack up points. Jones is probably the best worker in the clinch, because he never stops, and attacks the entire body. He stomps opponents feet, knees then in the legs and body, uses elbows. He just never stops in the clinch. It is not even like e is causing major damage, he just never stops in the clinch, and it seems to really frustrate opponents. Imagine a guy stomping your feet ten times, then as soon as you start defending it he elbows you, then when you start defending that, then he goes right back to stomping your feet. That is what Jones does. That is how he wins most fights, great clinch work. Nonetheless, once Jones clinches you up, he basically wins the round, and that is exactly what I see him doing to Gane. Jones is basically the only fighter that can do nothing but clinch, and still win, because he does so much while in the clinch. He is also the only guy you never see the referee break a clinch, because e is always working. Should be an easy fight for Jones.
