Love the message, Myron. God has used the story of Abraham and Sarah as a model in my life. I'm 64, and never believed in retiring nor been afraid of learning anything new. Since 2017, I've had to restart my life and that means entrepreneurship: writing books, coaching, blogging, doing social media, etc.
I too have a similar saying based on Jeremiah 29. "Get comfortable in your discomfort." Essentially, that's what God told the Israelites while in the midst of the Babylonian exile. They could still live comfortably, even amid circumstances they didn't like nor were able to change because God allowed it to happen. I believe in "working" until God calls me home, though it's really not work because everything I'm doing is to fulfill my purpose for the glory of God. So, age is just that, a number.

People can keep us stuck, and I am the one who keeps myself stuck more than anyone else! Ouch! There it is, my toes just got stepped on! Thank you Myron for your toe stomping way of saying the truth. Now to stop letting myself convince myself that I am lacking. Step one, listen more to truth motivators, step two read more, step three stop giving power to powerless things and people, step four go for more. God made me for more, Lord I repent that I, just like Eve focus more on my lack than I focus on what you want for me. Lord what do you want for me, what do you want of me? “Your daughter is watching, show her that her mom even at 65 is alive and well.”
This is a powerful video. Things are not as difficult as you'll make it out to be. It's all an illusion in the mind. 3 weeks ago, I flew to Detroit from Tennessee. Then me and my friend rented a car to drive from Detroit to Westerville, Ohio. I was a little anxious because I was only familiar with the highways in the south. Before I left, I prayed to GOD for a safe and easy trip, there and back to Detroit. I drove those highways and it was a piece of cake.
I love that story tell it a gazillion more times because that story was one of those aha moments for me

I totally agree! The person that God called me to be, is waiting for me in that unfamiliar place! Getting to that unfamiliar place, where my true purpose resides, is uncomfortable, but is definitely worth it. My familiar, comfortable place is writing, my unfamiliar place is transitioning to motivational speaking. You only live once, so I am relentless in discovering that unfamiliar place and truly evolving into the man God called me to be! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
