So how many times should we was the first 4 days? Someone told me every hour the first three days , it’s that too much?

I think the every hour is for any lymphatic fluid that leaks. My technician told me to wash them softly morning and night as well as apply the ointment.

I was told just water twice a day, then wash gently day 4-10, & apply ointment sparingly only as needed, do not saturate the brow. I apply morning and night. Washing gently at bedtime only.
