I love this song, but I'd like to hit the piano player, those chords are completely wrong. Please show a little respect to the composer. If you did that to one of my songs, you'd hear from me.
I love this song and I love love love Miss Annie but I hated the arrangement. She seemed to be battling the piano. Maybe just the soulful B3 at the beginning and then bring in some strings for an ethereal quality and to enhance her voice.
Just slow it down and let the notes marinate while the song simmers and deliver it in the end.

I love Annie Lennox but I'm sorry to say that I didn't "feel it" here. I loved her version of Cole Porter's "Every Time We Say Goodbye". Perhaps it was this arrangement.
I respect Annie's decision to record this song.. It's one of my favorites sung by Billie Holliday. But I don't like her rendition of it. sorry.. not into it.

Each artist will put their own take on a classic song,find their own way to realte to it,I love Annie's version of this song,she makes it her own. Billie's version is timeless for sure, but you can't copare the two singers they are so different,I think Annie has brought this song into the present time,with her version and it stands up vocally for sure. I love Billie's version, but I love this version by Annie,they are two very different renditions and both are stunning.Billie was a great singer of her time back in her day,and Annie is a great singer of her time nowadays,they both invoke a sense of nostalgia in their own unique ways through their amazing interpretations of this song.

No I don't like this at all, it just failed in several ways, shame because I usually like Annie and her songs and choices of, same goes for several songs sung from the Nostalgia Album, some worked some didn't!
