Little tip everyone when i did mine, i flipped the throws over made the glueing so much easier and also i glued some no slip pads onto the bottom which made it much more easier it stayed still lol loved this diy
yes the no slip pads were a must. i planned on recording a second video explaining that but i never got the chance to record so bloop lol. but im glad you tried it out!! Chic for CHEAP lol
Yes you just saved me $200 bucks I'll be buying 4 of these throws to make a huge area rug Thanks you're genius👏💜👏💜
All this time Ive been looking for an inexpensive all black fur rug and this was possible. Thanks!
anything is possible
Ikr
looks great! i would've glued it to the former rug as well to keep it down
Fatal Physiques xzzz k🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😗🤗😐#😑🤗😑🤔🤗😉🤗😙😍😗sjskk😜🙈😜☹😐❤😐😐😐😣😣😗😐😣🤣🤣🤣🤣😐❤🤣😐❤😔😔✌🏽✌🏽🤥✌🏽#@@@-#@##----₩₩₩₩₩¥₩₩@#@-----++++
That was my original plan but I thought I might want to use the rug somewhere else
Im so going to do that. Going to flip my rug over and glue to that side.
I had this idea in my head and had to come see if anyone did it.. Love it! I'll be doing this!
I've been watching a TON of diy rugs on youtube today because I have decided I'm just going to make the 2 that I need because I can't find any rugs that I like that are within my budget (and I REFUSE to go broke for some rugs lol) and yours is the first I came across with using throw blankets!! what a genius idea. I have hardwood floors, so I'm going to make sure to get some nonslip backing and glue that to the back of it
We made our own coffee table as well and it looks so good! I wanted a nice rug to put down and now I’ve found just the thing! Thank you so much!
THIS IS SO DOPE!! I CREATED A RUG USING FAUX FUR FABRIC FROM JOANN'S!!! THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER!!! I REALLY ENJOY YOUR DIY'S PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING
Awwww thank you so much for that! It makes me happy to know that you guys are really enjoying the DIY videos. I was kind of nervous putting them up because I wasn't sure if anyone would like them LOL Don't feel bad because I also bought fabric as well. But it's cool because I'm still moving forward with making my second area rug for my room with the fabric that I bought. There's so many ideas I have in my head that I can't wait to share with you guys in addition to my hair and make up stuff
LaTonya C does it slip and slide a lot on your floor?
monkey butt I was wondering the same! I would think it doesn't slide around due to the coffee table weighing it down but still wonder how the edges are holding up? like do the edges flip up a lot because it's not as heavy as a carpet.
Hey guys!!! Thanks for watching. So Yes The edges slide around so highly suggest a rug stopper or whatever it's called to keep it in place. But the corners do not roll up.
LaTonya C ii
I just watched your DIY Mirrored table video and I swear I was thinking she could glam up her space with a fur rug under that table!!! NICE!
yessss i'm slowly redecorating my place. lol you had the same idea ha ha
This is fabulous!! Thank you! This is exactly the DIY rug I was looking for!
Now this is amazing. Thanks so much for sharing. It's beautiful.

Omg, I bought 2 of the Cow print N is on the hunt for two more, I also bought the rug no slip backings from dollar tree because these throws are plush N two sided, I didnt want to separate it, U have the The Best idea because A rug of these magnitude costs thousands!😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you... and the no slip gripper is def a need. i forgot to add that in bc i planned on filming a second rug video explaining it but didn't work out for recording.
😮😮😮 This is amazing!!! Love, love, LOVE THIS idea!!!! 😍
I think this is so great!!! Made my night so fast and easy i loved it excellent job only needs anti slip material added.god bless

Great idea! You can simply wash it in the washer. Like that a lot. 👍🏾👍🏾
Came Out Really Nice...I Must Try This
Just what I was looking for! Quick! Easy! Inexpensive.....and so glam...
I am re- doing my whole studio apt and my budget is slim. Lol
The floors have these ugly tiles and all I wanted to do was throw down some big pretty area rugs.
This vid was heaven sent. Thank you.❤
sandrarthornton you’re welcome 😊

Great idea thanks help save me money and very soft 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
thank you for sharing it looks great.
It looks so comfy.
I’m going to do this but glue the throw on my old rug earned a subbie
I luv it...another idea is u cudve glued it to the old rug
that was actually my originial plan but the size was too big for the old rug and I didn't want to cut anything
New subscriber. Awesome job! Edit: wasn’t even looking for this. 😂
I love it N will be doing this!😍
amazinggggggg 😍 keep them coming
If you are a sewer you could have sewn these together. At least that would've gave you an option for repurposing. Just a thought. Love the video.
I have a large rug that I love however I been using it to paint because I hate the color and wanted a way to make it anew ! This is going to be the way! Cause I already love the size of it ! Just hate the damn color , I didn’t pick it out 😂🤣 love this idea! Thank you!
This just poped up on phone. Live this idea so much
Ty boo

Girl I'm loving your videos, tfs, now off to the next one. New subbie here😊😍
Yaaaaay WELCOME to the GLAMM FAM
Doing this over the weekend!!!
yaaaaassss
This is so dope I'm going to try this but I think I will sew the seams together more time consuming I know but less mess.
nise jone that's a good idea. I was wondering about it moving around easily because where it's just a cover and I thought maybe we could use an old inexpensive rug and just glue or sew the cover around the edges of the actual rug that way it doesn't slide or just seem like what it is, a cover on the floor lol
micaelidominique doesn't look like a cover on the floor unless you really get close and inspect it.. Looks good
I wonder if you tack the whole thing down to a rug pad if it would be more sturdy and less flimsy. I can't imagine vacuuming that would work too good.. it looks AMAZING though
What a great idea! I am going to do this!!
APPRECIATE IT
Yay I always wanted to know if you could use a throw as a rug and you answered my question! 💛
never wonder.... just DO IT... if it doesn't work out then at least you know lol but I did it for ya. so you're welcome
You really need to glue a rubber rug mat to the back so no one slips and falls. Plain fabric and throws work great as rugs but are very slippery. You did a great job, it's beautiful!
love this diy
Great idea!!!
love it, going to try this over the weekend
yessss let me know how that works out for you
Will do, love this!
Luv it!
genius idea I have a college student this will be great for.
👍luv this idea, i will be doing this, thankU
great idea
lOVEEEE iTTT 😍😍
nice I loved it. but does the blanket come in different colors
I love that!!!!!!!!😄
Awesome!!
You are one bad chic! Love it....
Love it
awesome I love it ... great job
THANK YOU!!
that's so neat!
thanks. 1 time for the OG subbie
this is such a good idea
thank you
Hello, love this idea but how do you vacuum ?
Great job
Very beautiful. But how do you clean it?
Do they sell that specific glue in the UK? Or what may be the equivalent please? Such a great idea I'm going to try it thanks for sharing ☺
My sister was about to purchase a 80 rub until I forward her this video... Thanks for sharing
aggghh thank you
Beautiful
Very nice!
That glue would get everywhere if I attempted. I'd rather sew it to avoid disaster. And I'd definitely need no slip on the bottom.
How do you clean this ? Can it be vacuumed or washed ? && how is it holding up after 2 months
How do you clean it? Can you vacuum it or only washer machine?
Could you paste the throw to the old rug to give it some stability?
so you're just using throws and putting them on the floor? You don't put any extra backing on it? I think maybe a good idea was to glue the throw to your old rug that you had
j s that's what I was thinking. somebody else commented that they sell a no slip type of material that could be glued with spray adhesive to the bottom of the cover.
old thin rug will give it padding or u can buy the backing for rugs
You are right. Bc I made this & mines keep sliding across the floor.. I had to end up glueing it to a real carpet
And it doesn't look cheap either. Good job!
Copper T thank you
You HAVE to have a non-skid backing! I slipped on a rug once, went down hard on tile, cracked open my head, many stitches and concussion !
How do you wash this rug? Can you wash it with the glue not coming undone?
Nice job
This is such a cool idea. Love it!
Is there a backing you can put on so that it doesn't slide on the floor?
ScorpianC69 yes the non slip material. I'm not sure if Walmart sells it but I have seen it and Joann Fabrics it looks like burlap almost. I saw another video with someone making a rug and they attach it with a spray adhesive.
Thank you!!
nice!!!
I might do this to my whole bedroom floor
This is nice.what size were the throws ?
Love, love, love this! Please let me know how it's holding up?
thank youuu. it's actualy holding up great!!!!
I love this idea.. Does it slide around on the floor??
Hey thanks, yes!!! It does. You will need to get a rug stopper which is maybe 15-20 bucks
Do you vacuum this normal? Or shake it out?
great idea; ^)
I would’ve just glued the rugs on top of the old rug for padding. Just a thought
awesome
can you wash these? our fur babies are getting old and I can't handle losing another. I love this idea.
Jennifer Morgan, no not with them being glued. If you see them together then yes!
What brand are the blankets
Would it be better to use the E6000 instead of the faux glue?
Lisa Thompson I don’t know how you missed it but in the beginning I show that I use E 6000 glue instead
nice video
