    This is a lesson for all players. If you are feeling sick, don't go training. Coaches and Trainers also need to be aware and very observant of each and every player. Such a sad loss. Condolences to the family

    How useful is an investigation going to be when the family chose not to have an autopsy after the death? A very crucial part that would've answered all questions was buried due to family wishes.

      Do you know Pfizer was forced to release papers showing they were killing people? Especially young sportsmen are having abnormally high heart problems.

      @@Robzabest25 It was a tragedy. But the time to have all questions fully answered was probably an autopsy first than burial. Don't really know if Fiji has the capabilities of a CSI Las Vegas to exhume and do an autopsy years later but I'm pretty sure decomp has turned all them organs and bloodwork to soup for the worms by now.

      This is about the wish of a family. The autopsy would have found the medical cause of the death, but not the mismanagement of the coaches of the situation. Therefore, this kind of investigation is definitely also worth to have, without the autopsy, because if someone is feeling sick, that is one part, but if then the trainers don’t help, but make it lethal, then that is the actual problem.

    How can they want a reason for his death but not want the autopsy. What’s an investigation going to solve. They want confirmation of his diagnosis at the hospital but don’t allow tests

  • @w4114w
    @w4114w Před měsícem +21

    It’s a lot of things that needs to be changed from the coaches, players, management, and medical personnel and even the hospitals.
    Times have changed and players are getting bigger and stronger than years ago. Things that was once good to do in the 90s are not good for players today. Players needs to be more transparent with the medical staff about their health. They need to get away from the stigma that you just a big baby if you complain about a little pain. To be a great player on the pitch you must look after yourself off the pitch and that includes mental health as well.
    Coach also need to stop with the if you don’t run one more lap than you won’t be pick mentality. It should be if you working and giving it a 100% but at your pace and best that should matter. Coz let’s be honest a props 100% work rate will never be the same as a backline and vice-versa.
    This will take time/ money and people who can make a difference. I believe when that day comes Fiji rugby will be a formidable force in the world

      Are you aware of the Pfizer papers which the courts forced them to release? They state hundreds and hundreds of serious side affects which are killing people. Especially young sports people through heart problems? Yet the gutless media never ever mention it. It makes me so angry 😡.
