    Hear Allen Iverson talk to a wired NBA referee.
    Hear how NBA referees, including Danny Crawford and Steve Javie, communicate with NBA basketball players and NBA coaches. This time there is focus on physical play.

    I like that the refs are honest and sometimes actually admit they might have missed something or that the play was obscured.

      Panther sdkfz - I absolutely agree- refs like Steve Javie, Ron Garrettson, and Dan Crawford will admit they miss calls, that’s just part of the game.

      They hated him because he threatened one of them so they decided as a group to teach him a lesson.

      Thank you! AI worked hard and he played the game with respect! But, the Ref.... They hated him! And have the video to prove it!

    isnt it funny how they said "there have been accusations of flopping this series." nowadays its just a regular thing we all expect to see but back then it was strange if they saw it

  • @habenmalcolm1316
    @habenmalcolm1316 Před 9 lety +11

    The refs didn't call any of Iverson's fouls because he apparently disrespected one of the officials and they wanted justice. This is the kind of bs I hate

    It sucks seeing how hard allen iverson would work on offense and get hacked and fouled and nothing was called because it seemed like all refs hated him

    FYI there are a lot of repeats in this series. ie the Iverson breakaway layup and Rasheed's staring technical.

      Except prior to 2005, most of the fouls required flops since hard hits weren't considered fouls as much as today. They required the necessity of flopping, now which is unnecessary.

    • @chitownkidd33
      @chitownkidd33 Před 9 lety +1

      A flop is a flop. Some people are better at it than others. You can't tell me Vlade Divac flopping in 94 or 2001 changed unless he got better at it

      If you listen, you can clearly see that they didn't call flop. Actually they were looking for it. 2:10 is a prime example of how they handle it. We now in the era of L-James, the master of the flop!
