This is the beauty of FNaF. This screen uses a technique that builds up suspense, but doesn't resolve it. So your waiting for a release like a jump scare, but it never arrives.
The first game is still absolutely unmatched in this regard, and it’s only gone downhill as time went on. The movie came close to replicating this feeling a couple times but never got quite there. A bit sad IMO, makes me think Scott’s starting to lose his touch.

Yeah. It always had this similar uneasy feeling until Sister Location. Now don't get me wrong, the era of SL-UCN was great but they in my opinion don't have the same vibes as the first four games and tries lots of new mechanics yet Scott managed to make them at the very least FEEL connected to FNAF. Now Steel-Wool on the other hand doesn't give the love and passion they need to add the games. In conclusion the newer games feel so distant from older games. Hell, we don't even get little secret teasers anymore we just get the trailer straight up.
fun fact! if you zoom into bonnies feet in the fnaf 1 poster, you can see that hes floating. when scott was questioned about this, he said that bonnie does not abide by the rules of physics, time and space
He can teleport to you in a swift 3 steps by teleporting from the stage to backstage, then to the supply closet and finally to your door. I'd say that Bonnie is just not taking time, physics and space's bullshit at any point throughout FNAF 1
I feel like the bonnie screen is mostly rare sometimes but if you have the version 2.1 you actually don't get that so if you have the version 2.1 I don't even know how you got that
scott added this screen for the spooky factor haha.. since he had nightmares of bonnie he then decided it was also time for the players to get nightmares of him too 😂
I'm not sure, i think different versions of the game have different chances. for instance, on my first playthrough on switch, i got the "it's me" thing more than 8 times (i did activate cheats though. don't worry i still closed doors when i actually needed to), although maybe it's because I watched freddy the whole time every night. regardless, the chances might be higher because of your version, albeit probably not

It is rare, eyeless Bonnie will appear sometimes as well as other Easter eggs if all the animatronics show up on the screen saying “it’s me” that’s the children who unfortunately were missing but were k!lled and stuffed into the animal mascots that are much loved today they are hallucinations of the children in those suits , as well as other Easter eggs like the paper pals (found in fnaf two but are a Easter egg in fnaf one) and there is many more Easter eggs but I don’t know a lot of them
