for Confidence Interval = 80 , Answer ----decision boundary between -1.311 and + 1.311, t-score= 10.96 therefore we reject null hypothesis

Is this is complete playlist of stats for data science
range is from -1.311 to 1.311 , t = 10.96 hence we reject the null hypothesis and the result of medicine is +ve on the people.
the standard deviation given was for the sample not for the population so we could have directly used it instead of dividing it by sqrt(n). Can anyone please explain??

decision boundary is coming 1.645 to right and -1.645 to left and t value is same as before so we should reject null hypothesis

Sample standard deviation s = 20
1. Hypothesis
H0 : Mue equal to 100,
H1 : Mue not equal to 100
2. Let's find significance value alfa,
alfa = 1-CI
alfa= 1-0.8
alfa = 0.2 or 20%
3. Let's find decision boundary, as it's two tailed test,
Alfa = 0.2
And degree of Freedom = n-1 = 30-1 = 29
So, For Alfa = 0.2 and Dof = 29 the Decision boundary from T able is +-1.311
Decision Rule : If T-test value is less than -1.311 or greater than +1.311 then we reject the null hypothesis.
4. Now calculate T test value
T = X-mue/s/under root n
T = 10.95
5. Conclusion : As t-test value 10.95 is greater than 1.311, We reject the null hypothesis which means that medication gives us positive impact and helps to gain intelligence.
