Yeap, surely the OP tackle... You get back the ball while not get charged with a card. The Super Cancel makes the player run faster than usual, so in short period of time (and only short, I repeat for emphasis), you can outrun the opponent- which will happen if and only if you have better acceleration from the opponent- then you simply get in front of him and take the ball via a simple X tapping. Some times, I don't even need an X tap if I have space to run and turn, as I simply get in front and with a turn I take the ball. If you have a stronger defender, then the success is guaranteed. There's only one way that the attacker can become the winner in such a challenge, something useful for us if we control the attacker against a defender: to perform a turn skill or dribble, which requires to think fast and from before what we want to do. I would suggest a tutorial about winning back the ball from the opponent going one on one with goalkeeper, when your defender is running behind him, without getting penalty.

how to get the ball from a player shielding it and then trying to turn and shoot. for example when its with a striker and my defenders are behind him, if one defender gets too close then the striker turns around and goes in for the goal and if they stay lil far that gives the striker the space to turn and shoot from range. either way i lose. what should i do ?
I am already using this type of tackle when GK and opponent Attacker collide, then Defender do the job.. Anyway, thanks for the video mate..

Excellent video. Super cancel is your best friend on this game not only with defending but correcting your player's position and body shape because lord knows if you trust the game to it for you, Your players will constantly find themselves in nonsensical positions.
Cheers dude, yup - it's the only way to compete on Legend. I can't even imagine trying not to use it lol.
@@SpoonyPizzas I can't even imagine playing on Legend for any other reason than to punish myself for betting money on any volatile Premier League match result. It's seriously a sadistic difficulty!

This question is kind of dumb , but , what does L3 do? Also, do you use special controls with the r1 and sprint with r2? I ask so because in 2:19 you pressed r1 (usually sprint) and X and said special controls . Thanks Spoony.

You should also make a video for sliding tackles, its so hard to make one without getting booked that many people don't attempt them at all which is sad because its an integral part of football.

It doesn't work for me :( I don't know why ! This is frustrating... I did exactly what I saw in your video but nothing happened... my opponents keep using this skill against me while I can't... I am super good at attacking but I suck at defense :( ... for example last game I scored 5 but I lost 6 - 5 💔💔💔💔...( my rating is 656 ... my opponent was 1279 ... he could score more)

Thats why i hate football games. Why npc's are not doing anything but running? They are dumb and brainless. Great matches online start, when you mash controller like combos in tekken. I love football, but losing every match online. 😡
