Thank you for all the time you took in making this video! It's really important to be transparent about our history--even about the things which are challenging. We "shall know them by their fruits". Thanks again! Can't wait for part 2!
Passionate believer in the Book of Mormon, the Restoration, and the Living Christ here. Joseph was a monogamist, and faithful to Emma to the end. Brigham was a degenerate lecher, who likely has Joseph's blood on his hands. There is an awakening going on, and though it seems a modest trickle for now, I believe in the near future it's going to become a flood. Or at least that's my hope.
Joseph Smith was absolutely NOT monogamous, all the way until he was killed. Polygamy was practiced long after joseph until brigham Young stopped the practice. As an ex mormon myself, married to an ex Kingston, I'm extremely aware of the functions of polygamy in the church. Sorry to burst your bubble but joseph smith was a degenerate who took wives as young as 14 and as old as 50, some who were already married. This is well known information within the church.
What about the vast corroborating evidence and letters written by his wives about Joseph's Polygamy? Even Oliver Cowdry admitted he found Joseph Smith with Fanny Alger. The sad fact is the historical record shows vast evidence of Joseph's polygamy than his monogamy. Even the LDS church admits Joseph had 20+ wives. You are simply a cherry picker of history. @@outlawedmedia4336 Brigham and co. (including successors) actively revised history after JS death. The affidavits "attesting" to certain women's status as alleged plural wives of JS were written and signed decades later and out of a need to defend the practice for the purpose of bolstering the Brighamites' succession claim. I would turn that back on you: "History is what happened. Not what we wish had happened" -Thomas Sowell. I don't have some personal NEED for polygamy to be BS. Frankly I don't know that I care one way or the other. I just have a desire to know what's real and true, so I did my research. I suggest you do the same.
@@OmahaAreaLoya Your position lacks credibility. All the historical evidence I have found and that both lds and secular historians all agree is that Joseph Smith practiced polygamy. The evidence is abundant and there is no disputing it. I pay no mind to claims he never practiced polygamy because that would be flying in the face of the historical records.
So sad how both Emma and Joseph were mercilessly thrown under the bus by Brigham and others. Although I've always felt the worst for it happening to Emma. I guess evil does what evil is...
Well done. The image you have of Joseph though I'm not sure is him. Joseph's great-grandson (from Alexander) is someone we know and he said that's not him. There is another photo (daguerreotype) that he says was passed down through his family and is Joseph. Not a huge deal though. Love what you're doing:)
I pray the lord have mercy and forgive our sin in believing false doctrines of men. Christ is the object of my devotion and no longer will it be false teachers. I am grateful for Joseph and am more humbled every day at the condesention of God.
I'd love to have a collection of all the times Brigham said Joseph told him something or he heard something in a private meeting

This was really well done! I look forward to part 2.
That song about Joseph is from Phelps who got Joseph in Liberty jail and then assisted in getting him to Carthage.
Good job, whilst most of the church sit with their heads in the sand, plaudits to you for taking a stand. (I'm a poet and I didn't even know it) 😀

@@outlawedmedia4336 That's fine. I really don't care. I'm not trying to persuade you or anyone else. Believe whatever you want.
Beautiful job!

Joseph may very well have been poisoned at some point, but it wouldn't have been by Emma. More like Brigham or one of his cronies.

This was my comment too:) Perhaps this is Hyrum?
How could he be poisoned through coffee? Gotta love how the Church doesn't show they believe Joseph was a prophet.

Nice picture at the beginning of Hyrum
Not a single reference to Jesus Christ, it checks out for you Joseph worshippers.
This video doesn’t have the feel of real. Thumbs down, I think.
