We my friends and fellow pyros have found our role model and motivator my neighbors had small 2 inch ball shells up and down the block and some small cakes I came with a bang with some codyb style milk crates loded with 5 and 6 in canister shells and multiple 500g cakes time to start the stash for next year
I celebrated on the 3rd because all the people we had coming over had work on monday so we couldnt have as much fun on the actual 4th. We light fireworks year round in the ghetto and no one really cares, but a new person moved in on the block and called the fire department on me and I just lite 36 canister shells and 6 500g cakes and 4 200g cakes in 4 mins before they showed up. They didnt give me a ticket since they were all gone and I drenched them in water. The new neighbor is gonna have to learn the hard way around here because I got another 70 barely legal 5 inch shells

Its what he does in all his shoots. 2 rows of all the cakes. You walk back and forth as one cakes about to end you start another one until you get to the final at the end. Idk if he came up with the method but I like to think he did. 😄
@@marteen914 He didn't invent it, but he has perfected it...my dad, gf, and my brother used to do commercial displays for a fireworks plant in North East Md...dad and I would set up racks across the field from each other and "shoot" at each other...made for one hell of an effect...our favorite shoot was in a town called Oxford MD...we shot from a barge and the beach...good times were had by all...

Glad you guys enjoyed your fourth. A Karen splashed our cars with paint because we were lighting crackling fountains. We didn't even get to pop any aerials. The police report took forever so it used up all our time.

But there are places like Poland which have even more insane fireworks then we can get here, the most we can have here is 500 grams, but they sell fireworks with thousands of grams overseas, I think 3000 grams is the maximum over there, oh i'd love for someone in Poland to do a CZcams video showing off some of those fireworks.

Great show, and enjoy the behind the scenes as well. My shows were a lot faster paced and enjoyable for me this year, and a whole lot of that comes from watching your videos. Setting up stations, removing fuse protectors ahead of time, fusing some boards, and ditching punks for a torch made for a good time.
In Oregon alot of places aren't allowing fire works its the worst day of my life so to cheer me up I looked on yt for cool fireworks vids and found this good job

Yea I’m in Vancouver Washington and it has been banned for 3-5 years already...people are lame and boring for voting this out. All the other states are very lucky. Some states even sell fireworks all year round.

I spent $1,000 this year and it was well worth every penny. I had a mishap with 1 minute ride where the last row came up out of the tubes and exploded on the ground then the cake blew apart. Family loved my show and even tried to give me money for it. I really appreciate this video even more now knowing you hand lit everything. It’s a lot of hard work but it’s fun work. Great job! Fantastic show!!! Thanks for including the "ground work" video portion. I used to run a huge display like this for a private lake assn. when I was in my 20s. 30s, and 40s. Now at almost 60 I can finally sit back and actually enjoy the show! Unless anyone has done something like this you have no idea how much planning and prep go into it, and then you really never get to watch the sky....just hope for a lot of OOOOOs, AAAHHHS, and OOOHHHS. Thanks again for sharing, great video work. (you could buy a nice used car for what you put in the air!!)

I bought the game "Firework Mania" on steam and got addicted to designing firework shows. Then I found this channel and I'm just studying the safety tips and procedures used to make a real life firework show. I think I'm gonna go out to the desert with my family and friends and spend $500 on fireworks soon, it just seems like a really fun thing to try! Keep up the great content I love this channel:)

I'm surprised that someone disliked this that was a amazing show. I was shooting off fireworks and one malfunctioned and shot 4 rockets toward us and our neighbors everyone was fine and there was no fire. Hope you guys had a amazing 4th and have a great rest of your day.

I had a Black Cat Wailing Wheel malfunction on me, lit the lead fuse and instead of spinning like it was supposed to it just made a loud bang, I lit the other fuses the next day just out of curiosity, one went green and fired off a shot, the other went all red and the last one had a quick fuse and made a loud whistling sound that scared the hell out of me LOL.
Have to say i'm not a fan of that firework, I don't like fireworks that require more set-up then "put down light fuse and run away", your supposed to use the nail that comes with them to nail them down to a surface by hammering the nail through the center hole of the thing, but I really don't feel like going to get a hammer just to shoot off a firework, seems like unnecessary busywork, so don't think i'll be getting that firework again.

I also had one of those Winda Tank Reports fire a shot towards us even though I deliberately set it on a flat surface facing away from us, luckily we didn't get hit, after that I made sure to light the rest of the Tanks on the driveway.
Also one time I was lighting some old small firecrackers that had been in my dad's dresser for over a decade, one of them blew up in my hand when I lit the fuse, fortunately I wasn't seriously injured, i just got a bruise, but after that I made sure to throw the rest of the firecrackers in a barrel with some trash and lit that on fire and got the hell back so I could detonate the rest.

Cody, as an advanced fireworker, it's time you start considering quality as well as quantity. For half the money spent on this display, you could have bought several extraordinarily beautiful 8" to 12" shells and included them in your display. Just a suggestion. Any good work of art has a definitive beginning and end. Best regards.

I am lucky to have an area where many people go to watch our city's fireworks from afar in a parking lot. Beyond my backyard close to it has a large grassy mound with plenty of room to fire from a safe distance. I get tons of oohs and awes from a budgeted fireworks display learning from Cody. My neighbor goes to Pennsylvania to by 500g cakes every year and brings it back to Maryland, where it's illegal. This year was incredible here. Absolutely amazing. I've never had more fun bombing the sky.
