Love when my suggestion is in there
oh by the way, a tip for walk(I'm no way better than you but here's something I found). Walk is in standard d with an extra quarter step down, and it gives the riff a bit more edge to it with both power chords and the barred g and c strings giving it a bit more of a brighter yet harsher sound.
PRS private stock custom 24 semi hollow with koa top and PRS wood library custom 24 floyd was the most beautiful 🤘🤘🤘🤘

As someone who works at the Gibson factory, I can confidently tell you that the SG you used to play paranoid is not a standard SG. You can immediately tell by the inlays on the PHF, fingerboard, and by the half pick guard. Standard SG’s have a full pick guard, and they don’t have gold hardware either.

Parker Hetzel I wouldn't say Metallica or Pantera have bad tones by any stretch, and they certainly scooped their mids.
And Scar Tissue, and Welcome Home sounded wrong without the wah

You'll probably never even see this, but the fact that you went to Sweetwater is insane to me. Not only were you the inspiration for me to play electric guitar (been going strong for three years now), but you went to my local store. This video was absolutely awesome, and I thank you for the entertainment and inspiration to keep playing!

@@Alberto-ny7kf nah they played Flying Vs in the Kill 'Em All days, then James went to explorers, Kirk played strat style but not single coil guitars, he would usually play ones with humbuckers or active pickups
I liked the way he played layla. Sure, it might not have been note for note or in the right place, but hey, it gives it its own unique feeling.

Love going to Sweetwater! I drive 2 hours there and back. Usually spend most of the day there. I have probably played almost all these Guitars as well but not in 1 day.

Probably by playing it correctly.
It is probably the most overplayed riff of all time in music stores all over the world, but what's even worse is that you see a lot of people strum it while it's actually supposed to be plucked, as Tyler did. And of course he was obviously trolling us ;-)

There are a lot of people saying that you played something wrong or in the wrong key. People forget the fact that you played most of these from how you remember the melody and not the actual tabs.

That Tele for Castles Made of Sand sounded great. In a lot of cases you used guitars very similar, or identical to, the original ones used for the songs. I'd be interested to know how you chose them. Did you have in mind particular riffs in advance, or did you just wait to feel what the guitar brought out of you?
