  • A friend of mine asked today “I am either all or nothing, is this an ADHD thing?”
    I told while not specifically an ADHD trait its effects are compounded on adhd people because of the resulting abuse we inflict upon ourselves as a result of missing something because we were fully focused on something else.
    Her example was that she was in house repair mode and fell behind in work mode.
    I explained that this wouldn’t necessarily be so bad if you just noticed course corrected and got back on track.
    However that is not generally the case with ADHD people because of the limiting beliefs that are instilled in us and the inner critic inside of us that is reinforcing those limiting beliefs on a loop.
    I gave her a couple of different tools that can help overcome this but the one I want to offer here is the Confidence Boost checklist for adhd entrepreneurs.
