cruiser you said it true bro. James has changed, he seems to have moved in his older years to music he can do in his sleep. Look how much money Kirk Hammet has made from HyPE, Kirk can’t play anywhere close to James Bells skills, vibrato, feel etc etc, I don’t feel anything listening to Metallica, so I guess James has moved to the Hype World, sad 😞 hope the best for him. Just think he should have stuck with the stuff that he started out with. Joe Satriani said James Bell blows Hammet outta the water. James plays Clapton better than Clapton lol 😝Robin Trower said same thing. Michael Sheckner same thing, but a ton of pressure this world is. Best to follow your heart. Hope the best for JB.

Someone mentioned Tallan Latz, so I will comment. He has amazing guitar skills, and rocks on stage because he has tons of confidence. James, you are every bit as good as he is on guitar, and you have much better vocals. What you lack somewhat is self confidence (or at least it appears like it), and maybe a little time on stage. You can win this contest. Believe in yourself, and let it rip on stage.
When you started singing, that really blew me away. The guitar is spot on, but I almost thought that was lip syncing, but nah, you have hella talent.

To be perfectly honest, the singing seemed a little weak, but that's maybe only because the guitar playing was so damn good! All the music for that matter. Really, really solid and on point. If you we're playing like that then, at that age, you're probably a monster now.
You really really get Eric Clapton's soul to pour forth in this song.
It's quite magical...you really play it exactly like he would.

Thank you :-) And also the site doesn't work properly. The song plays don't change at times even when we know people are listening. And at point I was getting 20 people adding support every 10 minutes ( more than anybody else was getting at that time in the competition) and the Buzz rating didn't move at all until after 2 days it finally bugged 0.01% even though I was getting the most support that day.....
James is fantastic we have seen him many times in nantwich. He always plays guns and roses sweet child of mine.. From two of the oldest fans he has age 63 . good luck James for the future.

James, I only saw this video about a week ago on another site. I was so impressed by your version I had to look for it here on CZcams. I notice you have plenty of other cover songs available for me to listen to. I am singer/songwriter but never really took my guitar playing as serious as you obviously have. You are so talented and I envy you. Now I want to go back and learn lead guitar. Maybe this time your motivation will help me achieve that. Thank you for such an awesome performance.
