  • The European Green Deal has been established over two years ago. But what does it want to achieve? And what has happened so far? This is a short, sweet and simple overview of the Green Deal and what policies are currently being implemented. This is especially relevant now that the EU wants to be less reliant on Russian energy due to the war in Ukraine.

The EU will have 0% emissions (offset) but that is done by outsourcing the last remaining industry to china etc.
If we want to actually get greener we need to produce here under our own laws e.g making more stuff here and making outside more expensive basically a EU first.

We need energy independence with renewables, produce 100% of awour own food and fertilizer to with the help of vertical farm and synthetic meat, recycles things locality to reduce material imports.

anyone that is in STEM and has 2 brain cells knows it is impossible to have 0% emission and live using electricity. you can produce 0 emissions only living in the jungle as an indios

@@autarchyan5426 Yep i added offset of make it clearer to mean pre industrial levels. But even that seems to be wildly unrealistic as there isn’t any cheap all over the planet energy source yet.

Europe has made an agreement with Turkey and other countries to buy gas from Russia through them, not to say that it is buying from Russia. They think we don't know about their stratagems!

Nice chanel! News on an EU level are super important and needed to be supported. However I highly recommend you to source everything you say in your videos. I have seen, in some you have done so (eg. your latest video on german defence spendings) but unless all of your videos got sources, you make yourself voulnerable for critizism.

I agree with you. I am surprised this one doesn't. I think I forgot to put it in the description. I will have a look if I can find the older files and update the video. Thanks for the heads up

EU can do wherever they want despite all hypocrisy serves them to please their consciences, but cannot force all the world into it. Maybe we can start stopping the plastics on every product and small similar things before try to force other countries stop with petroleum

The idea of the EU is ridiculous. I mean "Fit for 55". First of all, it looks like fighting against enemy which we cannot to beat. The EU area is really clear. The worst situation is in Asia, not Europe. We cannot be responsible for others countries. I would prefer our industry came back to Europe from China than the utopia. Nice a video, keep it 👍

the green deal is the worst shit a businessman can encounter in europe. I'll give you an example: you are a businessman in Poland, you have 1,000 trucks. BUT YOU HAVE TO SELL 150 OF YOUR TRUCKS BECAUSE THE FUCKING PARAGRAPH SAYS YOU MUST HAVE 15% OF YOUR EQUIPMENT ALL ELECTRIC TO DO BUSINESS! Of course, foldzwagen and other brands took advantage of this and SELL THEIR TRUCKS 3X MORE PRICELESS! This is abnormal #stopgreendeal

It's likely we will stop using most oil because of the saving from electric mobility and heating before we run out tanks gosh better than having a nuclear was over oil like in Fanout 4
