You can add the empties in a list on a notebook or an excel sheet. You are right about the cream products. Bacteria grows much faster in a wet environment like a cream vs a dry one like a powder. That is why even the companies give a smaller expiration date on cream and liquids

I love watching yearly empties videos 😍! In 2022, I also kept all my empties and only checked the final result on Dec 31. I didn’t go through any bronzer, highlighter, blush, lipsticks or eyeshadows which I think is crazy! I don’t have a hugggeee collection, but I still can’t finish products that I have that easily. I’ll definitely do a low buy on those products in 2023. Happy new year Nicole 🤗! Can’t wait to watch more of your videos in 2023

Le Rouge Duo is my all time fave, because of you. I, too, have a sick obsession with that product! Lol they are just amazing.
BTW you can drop off all beauty empties at Nordstrom and they recycle them which is great!
I love your take on saving empties to see what we're really using. And your "hate use" of the powder you don't like. haha. I do the same thing. Once I buy something, I'll use it whether I love it or hate it. I refuse to waste it. Happy New Year Nicole.

Hi Erin Happy New year! Your videos always make me smile.
This was the first time I kept my empties bag.
75% was skincare 15%hair care and 5% makeup (mainly mascaras, correctors and concealers).
It really helps realizing what I use the most and yet I tend to buy a lot of makeup. Specially lipsticks and I didn't even finish a single one.
I made dents in my perfume collection but I wear a different one every day depending my mood so that's going to take a while.
But I will definitely take your advice and slow down purchasing makeup and invest it on skincare (waiting for sales of course).
Even if I really enjoy buying makeup I have to start making smart choices.
So thank you for encouraging us to analize what we really use. Love you 🤗

I too used up a little less makeup than last year because I bought more and dispersed my uses around my collection. I did enjoy my makeup more last year but I do want to focus on purchasing less this year and just using up and enjoying all that I currently have

I feel inspired now to do an empties list this year and check what and how much I really use. I'm hoping to hit pan in some makeup this year and have a low buy for replacements only for the basics, like concealer and mascara.

Sooo satisfying! Once I became a mom, I downsized my vanity makeup collection to fit in a makeup bag aside from palettes but on new years eve I finish my concealer, foundation, blush, primer, lashes, and setting spray! My chanel soleil tan de chanel bronzer couldve gone into the empties but i had some left around the edges and i couldnt bring myself to break up w it 😅 but i have so much to repurchase because i keep one of every product. Only replaced my foundation and decided to not replace my blush to cut down on the steps i have also didnt replace primer because i swear they do nothing for me

I started doing the empties last year because of you. I thinks its q great way to see the products that you use and those you are not. ❤ What I used the most was hair care products, and skincare ( including body products)

I love Kerastase products but my favorite is Shi Uemura. I have red color treated hair so I have to watch what I use because it will fade. The Shu smells amazing and really hydrates my hair. Need to try that Kerastase conditioner.

Loved ur video, happy new year!🎈 I have many empties, I love Gucci mascara, babe lash serum, Chanel 1 moisturizer. I will replace those. I like the Dr gross pads, and his retinol moisturizer also. I use obagi retinal, and clear with blender! Omg game changer. My brown spots are basically gone. It was a lot of peeling though. Thank you so much. I love the exfoliation product. It works ty so much ❤

Is there any lip gloss you can wear on top of the Chanel Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue lipstick that won’t decrease the wear time? I love the formula. But, I always love adding a shimmer gloss on top of my lips because it helps them feel more hydrated. I love all of your reviews and advice on beauty products! Thanks for making such great videos!

It's hard to go through my makeup since I work from home 😅 but that doesn't stop me from buying new makeup that looks interesting to me lol now I definitely only want to purchase makeup of and when there is a sale

Guerlian was horrible. It came all separated. It also was drying and not glowing and looked straight up banana. Maybe I got a bad one. They refused it back because I tried it

Really ?? I haven't heard may people say they didn't enjoy the mineral veil.....I LOVE IT!! IT GIVES ME SUCH A BEAUTIFUL (never too glowy) luminous finish.....I think the main reason I love it is because it's SO SO PERFECTING and idk it never looks powdery nor heavy on me ...hmmmm did u have a matte version? Or is there only one version??
