Even as an Indian, while I'm proud of our kids, I have to say this was a bogus comparison .... learning a few tricks to do basic mathematics (like basic Vedic maths or mental abacus) does not mean that their IQ is necessarily better. IQ has a lot of other analytical components to it. Of course, I do believe that our education system, in general, produces kids of higher IQ, global awareness & civil behavior; than kids shaking their heads back and forth trying to Ruttafy the aasmaani kitaab in madarssas.
