Yeah… and honestly Demi did it better and sustained the note longer in those two clips.
Celine Dion is in a league of her own. Whitney, the best black voice and Céline the best white voice and is still foreign. Céline Dion and Whitney Houston are the greatest voices to ever walk the earth.
Demi is not even on the same level as Celine so Celine win all the way for me.

Cannot deny that Demi is a good singer, but Céline... simply out of this world, a completely different league. And YES! Céline is the owner of one of the best preserved voices in music. Taking into account the more than 4 decades she has been in the industry.

@@crystalali8394 First let me apologize for how long this comment is...its just hard to stop once i start typing...
the thing is, I love demi so I try not to be biased...however, half these comments on the internet are just hate cause demi has great technique especially these days...is she perfect no...is any singer perfect no...If demi is screaming in any of these clips so is Celine...and so are some of the best singers out out there according to society's general opinion. Demi can often be an aggressive singer and she has a much stronger, textured voice compared to some sopranos, like Celine here. Demi is an impressive vocalist in her own right and she could easily pull back is she wanted to, to give sweet caressive vocals if she need cause for those who have seen enough of her singing, we have seen her do it. Like i said no one is perfect....For instance most of her Neon lights performances are shouty but a very technical kind of shouty if you listen to her and have atleast the slightest bit of knowledge about singing. She basically just lets the note ring out with restriction for lack of a better term, without polishing it off. In that song, the chorus sits around a C5 to C 5 sharp i think and ive heard her sing the same notes, time and time again in a non shouty manner which means she CANNN do it otherwise. Why does she sing that specific song like that, I dont know...style of the song I guess.Ive heard her sing it in a non shouty manner one time think. Dont even get me started on Celine cause can keep going lol.
That clip where he said she was too squeaky, im here wondering where there was a significant difference was from the sound Celine made too cause they were both equally 'squeaky' also, its a freaking g sharp...AND the comparison videos are not great (not the reaction) the video. I say this because often times they use varying styles which will require the singer to SING DIFFERENTLY. For instance, that note demi did where he said she was messy...she was i agree 100 percent but its rock...and whether or not it was intentional, it fits the style of music....thaw shole show had some great moments and no so great moments in my opinion...mind you she was on tour too, so a lot of singing.
That note where he said she fell off, the e5 or e flat 5 i think...she didnt, that growl at the end was purely intentional. the note was great in my opinion, no strain and placement was good and so was Celine's...what more do you want? IF you simply prefer a certain kind of sound, I get that...if not, what more do you want, come on lol. Celine's note was done on a different vowel combination than Demi's and Vowel plays a HUGE role in how the sound comes out, not to mention how thick you allow your cords to stay AND placement too...in theses reactions its down to taste in sound which is fine. Its just annoying when people comment saying oh 'bad' which can imply they mean 'bad' technique or bad singer instead of saying, 'I prefer' this one.
Not to speak to his knowledge or anything cause Im no expert, but generally people come on here an react an throw around these terms [he didnt do that thankfully] that are just inaccurately used and often times mean nothing of significance because of how complex or simple the explanation behind the voice and what its doing can be...even so called voice teachers and its annoying. Something as simple as mouth shaoe can significantly impact your sound just like vowel whether it be a narrowed vowel which can come of as more delicate or a wider vowel which can be splatty and MAYBEE messy. Some of them are like ohhh, that g5 belt is so thin or its not full and make it seem like these singers are bad or the technique is bad which is often not the case. Voice type can influence the sound clearly and vowel choice, placement and the fact that its a belt, THAT high it will require some level of thinning which WILL vary....AGAIN depending on a range of factors.
This online culture around singing is so annoying its ridiculous, I could go down a rabbit hole of MY OPINION on why its annoying, however, not without referring to some of what i think are the better vocal coaches cause they make sense.
im done now, but before you go, to that comment about Demi's screaming, I want to pic up a mic and scream as good as Demi and come out in one piece then come on here and let us know how it went. THEN we can go down a rabbit hole of your favourite singers and what actual 'screaming' is compared to simple powerful belting and it may sound on different voices.
Everything you said there is absolute bollocks because she is a screamer and and a shouter, she is 100% abysmal, you could not put her on the stage as MORISSETTE AMON LAMAR from the Philippines because MORISSETTE would absolutely destroy her in every genre, she even destroyed Demi's own songs of which there are a few.🇬🇧👌🔥❤️.@@deahsarnosse4446

@@deahsarnosse4446I’m a long time Demi fan and I agree with everything you said. Celine is just incomparable, she’s a vocal goddess, a league of her own. My heart will go on was Demi’s first ever song she sang at a a beauty pageant when she was a child, she looks up to her but she’s absolutely not on her level lol. So to compare them is just a disservice to Demi because yes she shines on her own but no one can do what Celine does.
