I think Bruce's unique tone, s combination of focused nasality combined with the powerful, open, operatic sound, and that metal grit, makes his voice compelling from the moment he opens his mouth. I also think his subtleties and character work get overlooked sometimes.

i saw a thing by eddie trunk on a billboard list of 50 greatist rock singers. no bruce or dio or ian gillan or elvis which shows how useless billboard is. jerry garcia is a greater singer and frontman than bruce. oh please.
