You should have a guide trough the park. Who can tell you more about characters, people who spoke in the voices of the characters, etc. Cause the Baron you see, that old guy, was spoken in by an actor who was in a childrens series called Bassie and Adriaan. Stuff like that, how something was build, etc.
The voice of Long Neck is still that of Peter Reijnders; one of the three most important people at the origin of the park in 1952. Maybe it would be nice to tell a bit more about the history of the park during your next visit? :)
Next visite must be in the summer , july/august on fri/sat/sun there are the "Negenpleinenfestijn" ... only there is one thing , there lot of people on this days. But you must come to see this! Greetz Danny
You were fortunate that you visited winter Efteling on the 1 day that we had actual snow here. :) You must have been there the same day as the guys from Theme Park Worldwide .

The Efteling is sheer magic. It has neither the fastest rides, or the highest or the loudest or the biggest. And there is no need for any of that because it is the overall experience of this park that is truly unique. The attention to detail and the magical feel of it all. I am so happy that we live nearby so we get to visit this park twice a year, once with the family and then again with friends. As a child my parents whould call me and my brother in sick for school. (the school condoned it, like a public secret, many parents did the same ) so we could go there during schooldays when it was a very quiet. It is a part of every dutch kids childhood. I am very grateful for this. Being forty years now, i can't tell you how lovely it is to see young children in the park experience that same kind of wonder when i was their age. I really like watching your vlogs Maddie and Greg, it gets me all excited and giddy and i can't wait to go to the Efteling again! Keep it up and best wishes from the Netherlands!

Fun fact! We have a couple cats in the Efteling! We also have simba, also known as the pagode cat! Next time you go you should try to find him! He’s always near the pagode ride. We (the employees) also feed the cats 😊♥️
Love your video! I live 5 minutes away from the Efteling, so basically i grew up there. When I was young I came there every day. Back then my grandfather was taking care of the plants and flowers in the park😊

The Efteling is my favorite theme parc but winter efteling is on a whole other level when there is also real snow and cold weather. It's that finishing touch. Not all rides will be open but it's amazing to just stroll trhough the parc.
I have absolutely no idea how both of you exude so mush happiness on film. So natural and infectious. Great video, tells a story, and really promotes the type of experience you can have at the park, both from the adult and children’s perspectives. Really enjoyed watching this.
In times of self isolation we'll watch more Maddie Moate vlogs in Sweden. Your Efteling coverage is fab bringingvme back to my childhood and showing our half English/half Dutch children an important part of their Dutch heritage. Keep 'm coming!
Ive never been to Efteling but I love that not only is it open in winter unlike a lot of British parks, but they make it into a genuinely attractive idea and event in itself. Superb!
This vlog really makes me want to visit the Efteling again, it's been so long since last time I was there! It used to be a yearly tradition to visit it with my family when I was younger.

Great that grown-ups can still be children, and this is actually what the Efteling is all about, young or older, we are all children when we are here. I love the efteling, but living in Canada, I can only go when I travel to europe. So I like watching vlogs when I miss it. Very few vlogs capture the true magical feeling of it like you do ❤ thank you so much
My backyard theme park ♥️ I literally grew up in this park as my mom used to take me here on every Wednesday from my 4th till 12th year. After that we went every weekend with friends and turning 16 I got my first season job there. Thanks for this vlog it put a smile on my face from ear to ear.😊

Efteling is my youth, I still remember I was always so scared of the dragon at the Fairy Forest😂 we always went to the Efteling in the summer with the whole family and we would always end up behind my Grandpa's legs because he would protect us so the Dragon didn't harm is😂😂😂 I have this whole collage with foto's of the so calles "paddenstoel, rood met witte stippen" (mushroom, red with white dots) from every year❤
I think the womn with the pillow was Frau Holle. shes the magic woman who rewards the industrious girl and punishes the lazy girl in mid to east european fairytales, according to some she is also one of the leaders of the wild hunt ( basically a ghost army)

Oh. Wow. What an utterly brilliant video 😳. In and of itself video and editingwise, you guys' extremely contagious enthausiasm and honest happiness with the trip and each other, the snow.. well all the things clearly visible for all. But imagine the added deepness for a Dutch adult who went to the Efteling as (early) childhood treats in the 80's and 90's.. seeing how everything is still there, very well maintained, all the crucial memory cornerstones still intact and the park still being upgraded, and it being enjoyed by 'people like me/us'. I already know of a couple of early 30s Amsterdam couples, with and without childrend that will be going to the (winter) Efteling because of this video now hahaha. There's literally no way the Efteling or any ad-agency they'd hire could make an ad for the park coming even close to this themselves. Thankyou for the retardedly happy grin I have on my face now haha. 😊 And a happy 2019 with lots of well deserved succes to you guys!
Efteling had it's own tv-show once called "De Schatkamer" with children who could present their tallents and a also a game-show kinda aspect. Like, u guys would be the best to present that. The "not quite skiing" is just cross country skiing as opposed to Alpine that most people would be more familiar with. It's very common in the northern part of the US and the Scandinavian countries. You can actually get quite a bit of speed due to your heel being free vs locked down like they are for Alpine skiing. It's less a shuffle and more of a glide like you're skating
I still cant believe that this park is in MY country. normally the good things always happen in other countries. but this is just the best thing the netherlands ever got. De Efteling most gorgeous part ever.
I won't forget the one time in the Efteling with real snow. I don't like the cold, but it was so magical that I didn't mind at all. We went on the last ride in the boats as it was getting darker and it was beautiful with all the snow, ice and lights in the trees.

I absolutely love Efteling! I’m Dutch and I go to the Efteling every year with my family or friends, it’s amazing! It’s so funny to see you pronouncing Dutch words and experience the Efteling. For when you go again, have fun! And if you’re hungry buy a Baguette with an Unox sausage, it’s the best!
The efteling has gotten some upgrades!!! It has obe more ride and a faury tail ride in the fairytale forest! You can check it out some time- they also have a theatre if you havent noticed
I am a great fan from the Efteling. I came there (at 8 years) for the first time in 1954 when it was a playground with a fairytale forest with 10 fairytales. Later we want there with our children almost every year. And than with our grandson. Howe is now 23 years and want there for the first time with his girl for a romantic trip. I'm also a fan of the first designer from the fairytale forest Anton Pieck (look him up on Google) how is a famous Dutch illustrator and the winter pictures you show on the begin are illustrations made by him. And i also a fan of your blogs they make this old Dutchman ferry happy. Well done.

They started to build a new large attraction, Circus teamt. It comes on the site where Vogel Rock is near the large restaurant.

Winter Efteling definitely felt like it was a great time for enjoying the atmosphere and not worrying so much about getting all the rides done!

But imagine the added deepness for a Dutch adult who went to the Efteling as (early) childhood treats in the 80's and 90's.. seeing how everything is still there, very well maintained, all the crucial memory cornerstones still intact and the park still being upgraded, and it being enjoyed by 'people like me/us'. I already know of a couple of early 30s Amsterdam couples, with and without childrend that will be going to the (winter) Efteling because of this video now hahaha. There's literally no way the Efteling or any ad-agency they'd hire could make an ad for the park coming even close to this themselves. Thankyou for the retardedly happy grin I have on my face now haha. 😊 And a happy 2019 with lots of well deserved succes to you guys!

Efteling had it's own tv-show once called "De Schatkamer" with children who could present their tallents and a also a game-show kinda aspect. Like, u guys would be the best to present that. U'r positivity is just so nice and makes me smile. You do the park so much justice. To see you love the park I've loved for years just warms my heart 😍

The "not quite skiing" is just cross country skiing as opposed to Alpine that most people would be more familiar with. It's very common in the northern part of the US and the Scandinavian countries. You can actually get quite a bit of speed due to your heel being free vs locked down like they are for Alpine skiing. It's less a shuffle and more of a glide like you're skating
I still cant believe that this park is in MY country. normally the good things always happen in other countries. but this is just the best thing the netherlands ever got. De Efteling most gorgeous part ever.

I won't forget the one time in the Efteling with real snow. I don't like the cold, but it was so magical that I didn't mind at all. We went on the last ride in the boats as it was getting darker and it was beautiful with all the snow, ice and lights in the trees.

I absolutely love Efteling! I’m Dutch and I go to the Efteling every year with my family or friends, it’s amazing! It’s so funny to see you pronouncing Dutch words and experience the Efteling. For when you go again, have fun! And if you’re hungry buy a Baguette with an Unox sausage, it’s the best!
We saw lots of people buying the unox sausage and getting a free hat!

The efteling has gotten some upgrades!!! It has obe more ride and a faury tail ride in the fairytale forest! You can check it out some time- they also have a theatre if you havent noticed

I am a great fan from the Efteling. I came there (at 8 years) for the first time in 1954 when it was a playground with a fairytale forest with 10 fairytales. Later we want there with our children almost every year. And than with our grandson. Howe is now 23 years and want there for the first time with his girl for a romantic trip. I'm also a fan of the first designer from the fairytale forest Anton Pieck (look him up on Google) how is a famous Dutch illustrator and the winter pictures you show on the begin are illustrations made by him. And i also a fan of your blogs they make this old Dutchman ferry happy. Well done.
