totally agree! a couple weeks ago I got an amazing bug to listen to Binaural over and over again. I think all of their albums are brilliant though :P

Dude I did notice you singing more in this tutorial and it was rocking. Really wouldn't mind more singing on your end. Also helps us figure out the combination better than just air guitaring in the shower...well for me at least-speaking as a child of the 90's.
hehe thanks Benjamin :) A lot of these songs (not the pearl jam ones) I'm not familiar enough with to sing along to... and if I sing too much youtube doesn't let me make money on the videos... so i've settled on a few lines here and there on songs I'm very familiar with.

This song is an absolute underatted MASTERPIECE. And should have gotten more exposure. Should be on every PJ set list.

Nice tele. Hard to believe that in 2009 when I was 16 I was learning how to play this song, and it seemed so crazy that it was written when I was like 7. The stretch of time between 1999 and 2009 seemed like a lifetime. Looking back on 2009 from now, 10 years ago seems like just yesterday. I'm glad to see that when I was a young Pearl Jam fan I actually had a decent idea about how to play these songs. Some of the tabs at that time for this song in particular were kind of funky.

Been checking out a few live versions, Ed plays the intro with a C shaped sort of D chord, putting his fingers on the A string 5th fret, D string 4th fret and G string 7th fret(I guess at least 😆). I may be wrong but I think that’s what I saw in the video
I agree with your analysis that Ed plays some different voicings, and intend to dig into this topic sometime :)
