The girl dolls have pretty faces, and I like some of the outfits. As to Oliver, I'm glad to see a male doll with long hair, but he still has a baby face. Not a high school male face. I also don't like the continual grunge, sporty look that MGA puts on All the boy dolls. If they can be creative with the girls, why not the boys? I miss the grayscale and more Gothic looking dolls :( It seem to me as if there is no difference from RH and SH now. It's very sad, because there needs to be more Gothic/Alternative style dolls out there :(
Like the og monster high,hot topic style…I agree with the guy dolls,Id like to see a sassy male doll from MGA,like Rexx personality but with a sassy outfit instead of a sporty one

I feel like Scarlet is the best SH Series 3 doll who feels the most like a Shadow High doll to me. Her color scheme is absolutely goregeous, her face is breathtakingly beautiful, and she looks amazing restyled. They all look better restyled, honestly.
The more saturated colors also look not as terrible as I originally expected them to. As for the brightening and increased saturation of Shadow High's overall color schemes, I feel like it isn't terrible, but I still miss the more goth, alternative clothing and the darker, paler, or more muted color schemes of past SH characters like the Storm Twins, Glitch, and Karla, which I tend to see as being the perfect happy medium for the line. As for the names, Scarlet Rose is a goregeous name, but Pinkie and Berrie definitely have the worst names. As for Rosie, why didn't MGA just name her Sakura based on her Cherry Blossom theming because it feels like such a missed opportunity.🖤💜
I’m definitely slowing down with my RH and SH purchases. I’m a bit burnt out from so many releases in such a short time, but also the dolls and fashions don’t appeal to me as much as they used to.
Berrie is the only one I would consider getting, unless I happen upon a good sale. I was a bigger fan of greyscale dolls than I am of fantasy skin tones with colour. In general with RH/SH, I feel like I already have some really nice dolls; the new designs, faces, and character story don’t offer enough incentive to buy more.

I think fantasy color dolls can work but it needs the fantasy! Berries theme seems very futuristic, so maybe (to have a more cohesive line) all of the dolls could have been centered around that type of theme. I personally would have loved to have seen a more Victorian themed inspired release....Something like Lavendar Lynn's. However, I believe to make a truly amazing fantasy line would require lots of details and quality and I don't think consumers are ready to pay those types of prices right now. With so many dolls on the market and prices being so high maybe MGA is making a good financial decision taking a step back.
i don't know why its still called shadow High lol . The dolls just look like Rainbow high, except zoey look a like

My listing of this series is quite different from y'all's on some dolls. For me it's:
1: Scarlet.❤️🖤 her color scheme reminds me of bratz rock angelz and she's a bookworm like me!
(These next 3 are actually interchangeable for me as to their placements on this ranking, because I love all 3 of them, so this is just how I feel currently)
2: lavender. I'll admit its mostly because of her hair, I'm obsessed with how long it is!
3: pinkie. Initially I wasn't too into her, but I saw her in person recently and she's better than I thought
4: Rosie. that coat is everything!
(Then we have the final 2)
5: berrie. yes she's super detailed, but all that tech inspired stuff just isn't my favorite. Her hair is another story tho😍
6: Oliver. I think they should have done cornrows or locs instead of what they did. I just don't vibe with him at all.
I love every one of them. These dolls are beautiful, I don’t care about the names they could just be numbered 1-6 and it wouldn’t matter.
I also wanted to add that as much as I love the RH and SH dolls I had to stop buying them I think last year sometime. I have quite a few dolls still in their boxes to keep them nice but I am not lucky enough to have a separate room for my toys so my room in my room is very limited. I still live at home which in many ways I’m grateful for, mostly because rent for one person is very expensive. But I try to rotate my toys and collectibles when I can.
If it's true about reintroducing slime with the original core characters, I could not be less interested, especially when compared to the innovative doll designs of series 3, 4, and even 5. Heck, I even love Pacific Coast once restyled.

My theory is that Scarlett's name was going to be Cherry Blossom, but the company was advised that the name would be offensive for an Asian character.

The SH boys are all gray, black, or gray….I mean, there is no other available hue for boy dolls? I also miss the b&w theme for SH
personally my favorite doll is defenseless pinkie james. i think she is the most gorgeous girl ever and im in love with all her accessories. tho im not at all intrigued or impressed by the other 5. besides pinkie they could have done better💔
I love these dolls, their hair, the makeup, the clothing design and especially their shoes and boots. The materials used in their outfits is very good and the lined fur coat is perfection. There’s no doubt, in my mind, that the overall quality is far superior to that of other doll lines by other manufacturers. Thanks for the very thorough unboxing. ❤
If they just give is their secondnoutfits as outfit packs, I'm sure retroactivly the dolls would FLY off the shelves. Oliver was begging for some kind of 3 piece patterend suit, like the type of thing a basketball player would wear to a red carpet with his celebirty partner, instead of just the drab things he got. Scarlet shouldve had a more dorky aesthetic IMO and she would've served in some overalls. Lavender is perfect but I kinda wanna see a different sculpt on her, the sbarina sculpt is a lil overdone for me atp. I wish Pinkie had darker skin tone to match her depiction in the accesories and round out the line more, but she definitely has the best face in the line. I wish Berrie was either silver like you said or just leaned more into the green, even if that meant she gets more harley comparisons, and I really cant stand her "ai art" lore. I also wish her glasses were a VR headset instead. Rosie seems cute but I know she has that problematic face sculpt that Tessa shares where the eyes kinda just look derpy sometimes.
I've just got them and i restyled all of them except for Lavender and I even renamed them to be waaay cooler

Shadow High Series 3 That’s Cool
i have to say i like this series a lot more now than i did before. i like the more dark jewel tones they went for with most of the characters. i will say, i’m not a fan of most of the clothing, though. it all feels a bit basic to me (minus berry). i still love the dolls, though! i think they’d be great with some restyled hair/clothes
Berry is gorgeous but her skintone reminds me of Zooey Electrica, Which l do have. Pinkie's braids also reminds me of MGA's OMG lol dance Virtuelle doll. I like Scarlet and Lavender dolls. Im still waiting for the fashion packs. And l want to know which color scheme lm getting. Because l only have two Shadow High dolls, one junior high and two Rainbow high dolls. I might get a fifth one.
Scarlet is my fave of the line because her base doll is so pretty. Don't care for her outfit though.

Couldn’t agree more about Oliver. I’m annoyed. A basketball and jersey. Really? His face is also… anyway… I am slowly getting the others as I do think they are nice. Berry made me reach back and buy Zooey this week. I like how similar they are.
Im kind of disappointed in the shades they should of stuck to more the dark grey scale and all the dark shades 😞

Love your reviews but couldn’t disagree more about Scarlet! She’s a casual queen! She has a very introverted vibe with a subtle undercurrent of dark depth. A top 5 fave Shadow/Rainbow High doll for me. Like I said though, really love your content 👍
Same here! Scarlet is easily my favorite of this series! I absolutely love her and her color scheme reminds me of bratz rock angelz, which is my all time favorite bratz line! And being a bookworm myself I absolutely love that they made a bookworm doll😂 Scarlet is definitely the must have for me

Scarlet is a really beautiful doll! I just don’t personally think she offers what I expect / hoped for from the Shadow High aesthetic, and is a bit too simple for my taste overall. Scarlett and Pinkie are my two favourites from this series by far. Overall a bit of a disappointing wave especially if it is the end of Shadow High.
