Plane batteries, I (& as a few others have found out the bad way🤷♂️), always cycle mine a minimum of 5x before I use em in flight. I've seen ppl charge a new battery, put it in & 2 minutes in, hit LVC & lose motor. 'Captain' learned his lesson the hard way. I got it down & luckily in 1 pc.
Makes sense.. probably get some time on the rest of the electricronics grounded also huh.. at work we produce xray/body scanners and all electricronics get hours of tests and runtime looking for failures or hiccups before sent out.
Its so cool you saved the megaramp from uste an even radder so many trucks still fly off him💯🤸♂️🏁👍
Maybe you could design and print a comb. Looking a bit rough there, Joe.
Nice !....I have always loved Turnigy Lipo's from day one. Always had great luck and longevity with them.
👍👍😃
You could include in the videos the IR how much mAh the charger puts in from lvc back to full charge
Only reason im suggesting is because their 4000-6000mah packs have the same price somehow
lol landed the vigilante great and threw your arms up like you won the gold metal. I love it lol
LoL
RedCat has been killing lately, esp with their 4S line. The more 3rd party companys make upgrades for it, may be better than a Xmaxx.
I have 3 pairs of the Rapid 6.0 4S packs for my XRT and Xmaxx. The IR is a bit on the high side but for some reason the voltage drop is not bad, they perform rather well. On paper they do not test as well as my CNHL or Gens Ace Basher Pro batteries, but running them in the truck you would be hard pressed to tell the difference. They have good run time and from 3.45 volts I usually put about 5700mah back into them. For the price they are hard to beat just as long as they last. So far I have 8-10 runs on the packs.
👍😁😎✌️
I asked them about a banner for you. And me. You promote them. I have 25 of them.
🤷♂️🤯👍
Redcat vigilante. So much better than an xmaxx. 🤷♂️😁.
Any day of the week.
IF they only made planes. Was a beastly drone once. Drone was wicked. Redcat sold everything related to that drone to that racing league (cant remember the name) competition company.
Decent brand . No issues in 4 yrs time in Helicopters. They make most sizes , it's what in saying.
When are we going to see a head to head between this truck and a Xmaxx?
I have a bunch of these lipos 2s 3s and 4s turnigy rapids .. all my 4s have slight puffing so im not a super big fan.. but the price was amazing.. theyve probably had about 8 to 10 cycles always balanced charged.. no issues with the cells.. but out of all my lipos these are the only ones ive had issues with. All 4 of them.. so thats a bummer
😁👌
Hey exo, does the vigilante handle extremely rough terrain as well as an xmaxx? Like going over boulders, logs, and shrubs. I know the xmaxx excels here with it's huge suspension. Love you hear what you think
You know why don't esc have balance conect so they can discharge it balanced

As the saying goe's, buy cheap, buy twice !!
I have 2 of the 5000mAh 3s and they are not worth the money. Less than 10 minutes in a stock bigrock 3s. They are not 100c and not 5000mAh. Had to return the first 2 because of puffing. Sorry all. They are buying from a new lipo manufacturer different from years past. The extra long 2s 6000mAh 100c seem OK so fare not 1 has puffed out of 6 I bought.
I agree 100% man, these new Rapides are rubbish. I have 6 of these lipo's in 2s, 3s & 4s, out the box internal resistance is terrible around 9Mohm - 12Mohm per cell. Before using them I cycled them on my charger 5 times each battery before running the batteries. Resistance dropped a bit after a few runs & charges, still around 8Mohm - 10Mohm per cell on all the batteries I bought. Worst of all was a Rapide 3s 6000mah 100c - 200c, only ran it very breifly twice testing a truck. When I recharged this battery, 2 of the cells charged to 4.2v whilst 3rd cell would not go past 3.85v. Tried this several times on different chargers with the same results, even discharged the battery down some. Then even tried the old trick of charging for a couple on minites on a nimh charge to try to wake the battery up. Needless to say it made zero difference, this was a brand new battery that ended up in the trash. After being fully discharged of coarse, I even posted a negative review on this battery on Hobbykings customer reviews, needless to say they never published my review. Theres a good reason these batteries are as cheap as chips, ill let others decide why this is lol.
These are junk batteries, last set I bought crapped out after 90 days. Your better off spinning a roulette wheel and buying a set of of Amazon. (I've had better luck, frankly)
@redcat …banner please ‼️🏁🔥🔥
