CZcams's algorithm is so unfair! You should have millions of subs by now:) I can see the amount of work that you put into your productions, keep it up and I'm sure you will be properly recognized :)

I've just visited the WWII museum in Gdansk (it was brilliant) and I bought this book in Empik and I knew I'd seen an interview with the author but couldn't remember where. Well it was this interview. Thanks Patrick, I look forward to reading the book and watching this interview again.

Mr. Professor Moorhouse, I would like to ask you to write a book about the 5th column operations by different political groups and different ethnic/national groups in 1939. Someone needs to clarify the situation because these activities have become legendary, but the rumors may not be historically accurate.

We also need at least two Polish historians to write about the very 5. column published in Polish and English translation. One should represent the conservative nationalistic view and the other the so-called progressive view.

I am glad that I have lived to see times when conversations are conducted at such a high level of knowledge, and not only in Polish. It was sad when great foreign historians talk about the war, citing Stalin's version and his communist narrative, the USSR.

Very informative, thank you for the interview. Just a little clarification when talking about russian narrative and historiography, these events prior to 1941 are actually in our textbooks and we study them in school, for sure there is a different view of the non-aggression pact but the invasion of poland is not just thrown out of history in russia
