If it's a group of friends than it is. A group of random strangers isn't. I hate it when a haunted house sends huge crowds through at once and as a result the actors can't go back to their spots.
I love that it's got this whimsical charm to it. It's an endearing maze, and I think that's what they tried for. It's something you could look back on with incredible fondness. I loved the girls in the ballpit.

One time my grandpa told me he went to a haunted house and as he was walking down the hall Frankenstein jumped out at him and the group behind him. The group behind him screamed and my grandpa looked at Frankenstein and said “cool suit”. The guy told him thanks and got back in the closet.

True, there does need to be more actual dialog and scares. The guy before the makeup room who went “HI! Sorry! Come on through!” Was about the best actor there to be honest. He was clear, nice projection and felt like an actual character than just someone laughing or screaming. At Dorney Park’s Haunt our main goal is to tell the story of our attraction while giving each guest the best scare we can give them, and if we can’t, we entertain!

Although horror is one of my most favourite genres of films I wouldn’t last a second in this haunted house.
It’s very ironic how a haunted circus is more entertaining than an actual circus.
In my own opinion the pit balls on the floor are ankle rollers. An accident and/or a lawsuit waiting to happen. 🤷♂️
