- Back in the Borders and after a change of plan, I ended up in the same spot as last week.
Fishing was tough but after trying a variety of methods I landed 3 fish.

Nice video, lovely wild trout. I was up there 4 weeks ago on the Almond near Edinburgh doing a utube video!! Next visit id like to try this spot.

Nice one again sir it used to have boats on it when I fished it the middle up to top end on the road shore was from bank for me two burns come in there and old sheep pens sitting just under the water was always a good spot if you don't mind me asking who do you contact about your permit was online and couldn't find anything would love to go back down again next year for a day
I get them from Broughton village store, only about 10 mins away from the turn off for Talla. I think Laurel tea room still does them too but not sure.
