OPTICS
The EXO-T520s Anti-Fog coated Everclear outer face shield provides shatter and scratch resistance while, internally, the integrated SpeedView Sun Visor will help block the sun when you need it. 6 adjustable intake vents and integrated rear exhaust vents align perfectly with internal channels, keeping you cool when temperatures rise, and warm when temperatures drop. And for those who need to stay connected, the EXO-T520 was specifically designed to integrate with the new EXO-COM BlueTooth Communicator Kit while the large speaker pockets also make it compatible with many other com systems in the market.

I have this helmet with the integrated exo com system. Talking to people with the Bluetooth they can't believe I'm on the freeway on a motorcycle, it's that clear. Very comfortable and I like the integrated sun shield.
Downside - which surprised me - is way more road noise than my previous helmets. I wear earplugs with it now.
Do earplugs interfere with your ability to use the com system?

The detailed review on Speed Addicts website is why I was sold on this helmet. I’ve always been a Revzilla fan until I stumbled across this review. The Revzilla review isn’t as good In my opinion.
The calls are crystal clear at 75 mph with the lid closed. Still clear with the lid open because my windshield blocks a ton of wind. No one notices I’m on my motorcycle. I’ve had 3 of the Scorpion EXO-750 helmets. It’s always been my go to. But I like the fit of the EXO-T520 a lot better.
I’ve only had the helmet a few days so I’m still learning how the controls operate. The speakers are loud. The integrated mic is really good. This is my first helmet with the flip down visor built in. So I’m really liking that function.
This helmet doesn’t disappoint.

I have watched every video about these scorpion helmets on CZcams and this is the FIRST one to mention the comm system!??? Wow!! Do you ship to Australia?
And agree about the logo, I love the AGV helmets but HATE the red and green logo its lost me on that every time

Hey Marco, it looks like Scorpion borrowed the design from some previous helmets. Any Shield for the Exo-ST1400 and Scorpion R1 will fit the Exo-T520!
This is an awesome review. I am in the market to upgrade my helmet this year but with the current financial climate I may not be able to spend as much as I normally do.
I am looking at either the Scorpion T520 or the HJC I70.
This review helped me to decide on which I want. The T520. I like that you can see package deals on your site when you add Comms and shields. It helps when considering those options and figured the price for you so you don’t have to do the math.

Do you stand behind your claim for the EXO-COM? Will it still be comparable to using earbuds at 65-85 MPH? How well can you hear phone calls? review specifically with the T520 please.
Yes, we certain stand behind all claims regarding the EXO-COM T520 combo. The EXO-COM uses some seriously robust speakers. They're significantly more powerful and crisp than other integrated communication units we've tested and reviewed. The range also exceed the manufactures claims. We give rig two thumbs way up!
With the dark smoke shield can you see ones face? Will any scorpion face shield fit this helmey?
Hey Tyeronw, it looks like Scorpion borrowed the design from some previous helmets. Any Shield for the Exo-ST1400 and Scorpion R1 will fit the Exo-T520! Normally a dark smoke shield will make it hard for others to see your face, hope that helps, happy riding

What's a better helmet the EXO T520 or the HJC i70
While Speed Addicts sells both and believe both are excellent helmets, we'd give the nod to the Scorpion EXO-T520. The Scorpion is bring a few extra features to the party and is a more recent release. First up you have the option of fully integrated comms with the Scorpion EXO-COM unit. You also get the Scorpion AirFit system and emergency release cheek pads. The T520 is also the clear leader in the number of units we've sold at this point. Hope this helps!
Will the exocom link to someone with a Cardo Spirit HD?
Yes, you can pair units with a standard Bluetooth connection. Mesh is brand specific.
Do these come standard with a smoked visor and a clear visor
The helmet comes with the clear shield.
Is it glasses friendly?
