Always so appreciate your videos even if they take us back to the beginners mode. You’re never too old to learn. That said I seem to have trouble with my Roku from time to time it just keeps buffering when you click on the movie that you wanna watch and then it just stops. I don’t know if I should uninstall it and reinstall it. What do you think

Is the 1st part of this process only for the 4k firestick? Because when using the "Hamburger" button on my 2nd gen firestick, it doesn't show an uninstall option. Thanks. And I love all of your videos
Same on all firesticks. Built in apps cannot be uninstalled. Try it on one you actually add to the stick.

All apps that you install can be uninstalled. The preinstalled ones are trickier to uninstall. But you should have plenty of space regardless
I have a LG smart TV. Should I install another fire stick on it? I have a FS on my old TV
and I can work it pretty well. My LG not so much. I get amazing clarity on my really
really old TV with the stick. What am I doing wrong on the LG. I also fight with Alexa.

I have a firestick on all our tvs including our high end LG and Sony TVs. The features are so much better than the regular android they offer

How do I uninstall the app so that if I download again it doesn’t say “you own it”… it’s really bugging me because although I delete the app when I go back to download again it’s saying I “own it” even though it’s no longer on my apps list. I need to completely wipe it!! As need to reboot the app. Help please
If you uninstalled via the method on this video, then restarted your firestick it will work. You can re-download and then it will say you own it because you previously downloaded it. But you still have to bring it from the cloud. What are you trying to accomplish?
Mine crashed last year. I removed everything & it still told me I have no space. Havent used it since, obviously
Easy to fix with a remote key factory reset. We have a video on remote codes. It will fix your issue

Did you unplug the firestick from the wall outlet for 60 seconds?
Have a Xfinity stream- Fire TV app hung up in the installing position. It will not complete. How do I get rid of it so I can reinstall? It does not show up in the installed apps .
Did you do a hard restart of your firestick? We have videos on it if you don’t know how. You should do it regularly. Try that and it should be ready for install again.

Hi can you please tell me how to remove app like Amazon Kids, Amazon live shopping, Amazon Music, Amazon Photos, Calendar I don’t use these and is MB up theses app do not have option to uninstall

Yeah, those are preloaded and Amazon wants you to have them. You can hide them or do a bloatware clean. But honestly if you deactivate them (which is easy), it won’t accumulate cache and you should have plenty of space still. I keep them on and still run around 20-30 apps regularly with no slowdown

Since freevee was purchased by Amazon you can't remove it. Why would you want to?
I can’t find anyway to uninstall the Amazon kids app for fire tv. I chose to install this app and it’s causing problems on all my fire tvs and fire sticks. There is no option to uninstall this app and even in my Amazon account I can not find anyway to uninstall it.
Sorry, it’s an Amazon app. It can’t be removed, but you can disable/hide it.
I’ve had both the fire stick on the main tv and the fire tv in the bedroom for over two years now and they never had this Amazon kids before. I didn’t know it was going to take over my entire tv when they offered it. Both tvs start now with the Amazon kids selection and making you have to input your password before you can use the regular selection function to choose channels. Like I mentioned before it also causes problems with the fire tv crashing sometimes before it can even get to the normal menu. Are you telling me that Amazon recently added this and there is no way to remove, delete, or even stop it from interfering?
Oh, so someone activated it. You didn't say that. Yes you can turn it off, but only in the main profile. You are in the child profile. Do you know how to switch it over? Reach out on patreon if you need help. This is an easy fix
Like I said I tried everything I could think of. Nothing on the main selection screen that comes on first now , the Amazon Kids user selection screen and no uninstall option in my parent now password protected user area which use to be the normal selection screen. There’s only two profiles to choose from when you turn on the fire stick, Kids and mine (Anthony)
You can turn off the kids profile. This is your issue. If you honestly need a walk through on how to do that, reach out on patreon and I can do a little video for you
My first TV stick gets stuck at uninstalling application icon,but don't uninstall it...
Almost sounds like you haven't restarted the stick in a while and it's jammed. When is the last time you held down the home button for 6 seconds and restarted it?

That's a tricky proposition since those apps paid amazon a lot of money. Luckily you still have gigs available. You shouldn't have any issues adding lots of apps. I have over 30 I added and still have space. As long as you don't add silly apps like Kodi, you are good to go

7 minutes is a quick video for most people on walk thru videos. Many are 15-25 with the same information. Sorry if not fast enough, we have youtube shorts videos that are quicker pace for you.
