- These are my 10 favourite modules in VCV Rack so far, the ones I'm having the most fun with at the moment. In this video I'll tell you why I like them so much and I'll build a basic patch from scratch with them, all improvised.

Great tutorial. Like how each step is used in building the 'rack'.
this is cool , i like your ambiance
good choices.
All of these modules are familiar to me, but I have looked at them from a new angle. And yes, the mixer is really cool. Thanks 👍
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I made a couple of recordings with this patch since then. Maybe I'll upload some, it's been a while... These are still amongst my most favourite modules!
LOVE IT ! We share so many of the same favorites
Great stuff! Thanks for the inspiration and tutorial! 👍🏻
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and good luck!
Nice sampler! I'm going to try using all of these (only) in a patch, just for learning. I've been trying to learn modular synthesis, and it's a whole lot of elephant to chew. I really want to construct songs with Rack, more than simple textures, and that's proving to be a real challenge. Videos like this help me to understand the elements available and make good choices as to wat to use.
Okay, that kind of just rambled on a bit, but thanks for the video!
Sorry for the late reply.. yeah, that's been my goal too, to create / 'compose' / perform whole songs rather than just cool sounds. I think I'm slowly able to create something that I actually want, rather than just experimenting. But it's actually this experimentation that's fun :) I should get back to it! Good luck!
Thanks for video.
thats awesome dude, thanks !
you're welcome! glad you enjoyed it!
Good stuff.
Really enjoyed your video! It was very informative - I'm planning to test your favorites out~
However, I cannot find modular fungi on VCV rack anymore, which is a shame - it looked really cozy with the lights dialed down.
Late response, sorry, I've been taking a break from VCV Rackand CZcams. But I'm happy to hear that you found my video informative! I didn't even know the Modular Fungi modules were gone. I haven't really used Rack 2 yet, but I saw that it has the "lights off" functionality built-in: from the menu bar View/Room brightness.
Hey Koma, I have just found your channel - where have you been hiding? 🙋🏻♂️
I am loving your music! Where are you from?
Hey @torma1985 ! Thank you!! Cool name :) I am Hungarian, and you?
@@koma2000music ah I thought so! Én is magyar vagyok 😄
Nagyon bejön amit csinálsz!
Inspiráltál és én is elkezdtem mókulni a VCV-vel.
Nézz el hozzám ha van kedved.
@Granularis CZcams-on
my top 3 vcv modules....M.I.. Elements, clouds and marbles I guess
Great video. What sequencers do you like?
Thanks! I really like using the sequencers by JW-Modules, especially the GridSeq, great for generating some semi-random notes. I had some fun with the NoteSeqFu, too.
HELLO HOW CAN I DO TO CONTROL THIS SOUND IN MIDI PLEASE HELP
Hey, you would need to add some kind of midi mapping module to the patch, e.g. MIDI-MAP from VCV. Then you can associate the midi inputs from a controller with the chosen parameters of the modules you wish to control. Check out this tutorial by Omri Cohen czcams.com/video/Dd0EESJhPZA/video.html
Edit your videos. Bored before anything happened
