I need to ask the poster of this video a question: I adopted a rainbow lorikeet and I live in California, United States. I see they are eating sunflower seeds but I was told they can’t eat seeds. Is it true? Can they eat seeds? Please tell me because my other bird eats seeds and I try to keep my lorikeet away from the seeds.
The Lorikeets at Dr Romesh's Bird Sanctuary at the Holistic University of Brisbane's Moorooka Campus in Brisbane don't squabble like this. It's because of how we feed them.
Not just Rainbow Lorikeets, but Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and Domestic Pigeons as well.❤😊

They shouldn’t eat seeds as they are nectar eaters.

Same amount of birds at my place plus many more other kinds magpies, scaly breasted a lot more noisy and less well behaved. 🌈🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦😄
