Lucy has made another masterpiece cover with its unique color. Yechan's violin needless to say has outlined the melody and given more subtle touch. Gwangil and Sangyeop match so well in voices, Gwangil's drum beats are so powerful as the emotion grows. Sangyeop's rapping is another amazing twist. And the whole perfect arrangement must be due to talented Wonsang. Lucy not just never dissappoint but always surprise us.

As an army and walwal i'm literally the happiest person right now!!!!!!!!!! They really gave Fake Love a whole different feeling and as a huge fan of the original, I love their version sooo much!!!!!!!
I saved my thoughts on this because I was busy being blown away aha :') Arrangement-wise, they killed it. Yechan's pizzicato skills (violin plucking) was amazing as usual, and it's super impressing that he managed to incorporate it so well that it seemed like an original verse. Gwangil's drum build ups were tasty as heck, and I just LOVE drum beats that build up like that! He carried the song's momentum perfectly! Sangyeop's voice- oh cmon I don't really know how to top it. The fact he smoothly switched from singing to rapping was deeply satisfying. For Wonsang, aigoo. I just can't with this genius producing and arrangement. Credits to Wonsang, who I believe came up with this arrangement helped by the others. People don't talk much bout his arrangement skills but he's truly an ace here. A producer who plays a 6 string bass, and sings back up vocals? An ace genius. Just my thoughts because high quality music gets me really happy and these boys have been really, really inspiring. Ah.
YESSS!! As a fellow musician, these are exactly the same thoughts I had! Also just the musicality in terms of the shaping of phrases and dynamic balance is AMAZING. They killed it as usual💙💙. Nothing less expected from LUCY. I got used to listening to Yechan’s cover, but this band version is just as if not more amazing. I really like the arrangement of this version because it makes the chorus so much more of a climax and I feel it flows really smoothly together. Sangyeop’s rap at 2:18? *Chef’s kiss*. The final chorus? Was ethereal and gave me literal chills😳😳. I’m so happy they reuploaded this, and can’t wait to see LUCY continue to grow✊😌
