Augy is the man!
Has anyone ever had a better time in a boat?
Is this the niangua river
No but The Niangua River is a 125-mile-long tributary of the Osage River in the Ozarks region of southern and central Missouri in the United States. Via the Osage and Missouri rivers it is part of the watershed of the Mississippi River. Niangua River has the name of Niangua, an Indian tribal leader.
Awesome video with lots of great tips on smallmouth on the fly. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Austin, welcome to the channel! It’s going to be a great year for smallmouth. No floods during the spawn. Are you having any luck this year?
It’s been a great spring for me so far, including my best brown trout this past week on a streamer! Great conditions have certainly helped.
Great video as always Franky!
Thanks my man! Be gotta get out with Bang Bang soon.
Awesome video
Thanks for checking out the channel!
Awesome video Frank! Has me pumped to get out again. Dig the tips and leader set up info.
It’s people helping people, powerful stuff. It’s smallmouth fever time!

Thanks for checking out the video, link here. Are you also crazy about smallmouth?
Yes I've been addicted for some time now!! I love fly fishing for trout and I love bass fishing. When I merged fly fishing for smallies I was blown away!!!🤯🤯🤯
@@cliffbradley8871 where’s home base? The Ozarks have a lot to offer!
Were you all throwing floating lines or intermediates on that 18”,18”,18” leader?
Sinking. Partway through the video I shared which lines we were using. Cortland’s Fo-Tech 5 is a popular option. Also the SA I-3-5. Fish were pre-spawn and hiding a little deeper than in post-spawn months. Hope this help!
I feel like a lot of energy is wasted throwing big streamers for smallies, you can catch them just as well on woolly buggers
@@thomasharrison72 all about confidence flies I think. I love the Murdich Minnow for example. Small profile. Huge bites!!
You should have boosted your guide. Said who he was, how to reach him or at least say his guide service name!
My dude! Please do check him out because he’s the man. The one and only Augustus Knickmeyer from www.missouriflylifeguideco.com
You may not have made it all the way to minute 1:03 but Augy’s info is there. Catch em up!

We are lucky to have these resources available to us. Where else can you learn how to fight a big fish before you find the wild one unexpectedly?
