He did, It's after you watch all the credits that it shows the nameless soldier surrounded by decomposing Titan bodies limping towards his sword and cape.
Problem with trying to incorporate THAT level of stubbornness into the main story would probably make everyone else redundant.

I say they make a branch off where the nameless hero can actually affect the story with their skill! Sure would make more sense then beating 50 titans by yourself and then dying to 20 in a cut scene

Most of Season 3 to last were about who the rest of the cast really were and willing to do.
The only way your character would work would be with a Witcher level of writing and multiple choice.
But since that isn't in their paygrade, Maybe if they make him come back it would be either as a cameo (Like saving The characters from their deaths) Or someone that you see but only play as in the final level so you could actually build intrigue on HOW much better he has gotten.

Have the story go the way the anime goes regardless of how good the player character is while still keeping the player character around. I mean by the time you first see Levi, your kill count if you go for S rank, is already higher than his. But he still saves you and Eren from those two titans after Eren plugs the wall. You solo the female Titan two times, but she still captures Eren in the end and Levi has to be the one to save him. If the game developers wanted to, they could probably make an interesting story off of that concept. I mean with the events of season four, the player character trying to fight against fate could be an interesting thing to go off of. Of course, it’ll never happen. I can dream, but I know those dreams are just dreams. We’ll be lucky to get an attack on Titan 3! Much less get the nameless hero back with a story exclusive to the game. That sh*t will never happen! But again, I can only dream

First would be the normal ending.
Second would be you siding with Eren.
And finally the usurper ending, Having a variation of both good and bad.
The first two are dependent on your choice but the second can't be unlocked unless you fail certain number of rescue missions so your character doesn't feel like he's willing to switch morality on a dime and making it even more personal IF you choose the normal (Failing the rescue missions and still trying for the normal ending would turn your game's difficulty into an absolute nightmare) ending as now you and Eren are on even ground for discussion because of what you both have lost and yet separated b your different choices.
The Usurper would however be determined by the amount of atrocities you commit (A much easier option in gameplay) compared to where you try to become a symbol of peace rather than freedom.

Honestly the game is enjoyable but it has a lot of issues like alot of poorly animated cutscenes, censorship and the biggest issue ( in my opinion ) it doesnt use any of the AOT ost it has its own soundtrack that sounds like stock music
i completelly agree with you, but the game is fun as hell, and for music i usually put some combat ost to listen along, but it would be 1000x better if it had the og ost i agree

Im still confused at why they did that ending when they released story dlc/expansion later and made ur custom character unplayable and didn’t think it would make players upset they had to play a random guy instead of ur own. Yes before you but its because of what happens at the end doesn’t change my opinion they could of simply not done that ending or added something in the dlc that ur character is still playable.
