@@KevinTodd im excited to see that also I've always wondered about those adjustable thunderbolt or Jaguar cdi's, have u seen those? Another quick question if u dont mind,this is the first time I've ran a reed and idk if it may just be that but u told me to try an nt carb the other day when i was having issues with another carb and that totally worked but my question is, when the engine gets to a certain rpm, about half throttle the pitch/ sound of the engine changes/ gets quieter and sounds that way until it drops in rpms again. Is that healthy? It feels and otherwise sounds like its running good🤷♂️ i tried researching it but didnt find nothing good. Thanks for ur videos and good info🤙i hope ur ac replacement goes smoothly dude.

Well I got a LD 90 that goes faster than that..... porting on the engine is bad and hopefully it'll do better with some different timing you ride safe and thank you very much for watching

@@KevinTodd 100% timing would improve any and all of these 2 strokes. Regardless of what cyl or motor combo. Key is a programmable ignition. That you can program a timing curve everyone would pick up litterly 2 + hp if it's a high end cyl possibly as much as 4 hp. Not cheap and requires a crank trigger and battery. You pick up power everywhere. That's how we tune drag bikes.

Looks awesome brother I liked the ld100 I ride around 30to35 all day anyway the nel lusso my first build it has a yd100 on it now thinking about putting on the LD90 on it. PS called you left you a message that's what's wrong with the athina I rode it around for a week and a half with the window no problem the 12 coil was dieing that's why I was able to go about a mile and it would cut out I ran it by op1zill he said he never heard anything about it then I told him what little evil said and he said that the athina engine needs a parmacat cdi that allows you to control the timing and also one of them smolik timing plates for the magneto I found one on line 19 dollars but not as nice as smolik so I guess I'm at a stop until I get them parts evil was saying that's what is killing my coils just letting you know what's happening later
I said it needs timing turned back, an it was not loosing power because of high compression 👽👍🏻 But Heat will kill your coil an magneto, if you want to go all in get the Parmakit it has a built in timing Curve an you can use in along side the Smolik timing plate - But the Plate should fix Your issue Mike

@@Op1zilla yes sir I did do that that's why I don't understand op1zill it's got around 225 miles on the engine then I was going down the road slowed down to about 15mph and it started to flame out so I help pedal it and it will start up when I got home I thought the same thing why to put temperature gun on it the engine is 245 cylinder 150 nothing to hot when I was breaking it in it got up to 280 degrees and ran fine then I changed the coil to another 12V coil did good for 2 miles and was 232 degrees no spark so I went home been sitting every since plus it got cold here again lol
Cool, I was curious about how exactly those timing plates worked....
I have 2 timing lights laying around....Makes me wonder if you could make some timing marks on the coil & magnet & use timing light to label exactly how many degrees btc you are.
Hook timing light to car battery next to bike then clamp light onto sparkplug wire.

Maybe try vm22 carb maybe if you can get more air maybe run bigger jets

Just some friendly competitiont for you, I'm in the process of building one of these motors myself and I'm coming for your top speed run, I'm going to be using a 24 inch wheel bike with a 22 tooth sprocket

Put a nitrous kit on it like I did. It still runs great but not as fast as my phantom

@KevinTodd it's not like you would think. The bottles are real small so when you press the button it only lasts about 6 seconds or so. If I'm riding that bike I usually put a few extra bottles in my pocket just in case I need them lol
What's the elevation of your testing grounds?

The carb has jets and comes with 100 main and piolet jet installed in the carb you just bolt it on
and now all this information is for entertainment purposes only do not do anything to your engine that could cause you to get hurt 40 miles an hour it's fast enough as long as you got disc brakes a proper frame proper wheels proper tires stuff like that this is just for entertainment purposes only have fun ride safe
