Jackson once told the fandom that it's okay if they stan another groups, it's okay be a multi-fandom fans, but when GOT7 is back, it's time to come home. January 2021, all of the members officially left JYPE, all of them signed with different agencies. they assured their fandoms that they will make a comeback as GOT7 despite each of them in different agencies. a lot of people was skeptical. Because whenever a group has a member signed in different agency, it was almost impossible for them to make a comeback as full member. let alone all members in different agencies like GOT7. but GOT7 prove them right when they released ENCORE few months later. trust me when i said the fandom was crying in relief when ENCORE came out. no one expected that comeback would be so soon. After leaving JYPE all of the members slowly announced which label they will signed under, the last one was Jay B. he's like a father for the members, he make sure all of his child have a proper home before he get a home for himself. he took care of all the legal papers for GOT7, hence why they can own the name, the song, the social media acc etc after leaving JYPE. 7FOR7 is not a mere album for the fandom, it's a promise. it means a lot for the fandom
and I also think Eclipse is more on about overcoming self doubt or the things that bring someone down because during the time that they are promoting these song I see and felt like they are pressured by their own expectations something like that. you can feel that something is bothering and them and wanted to express to the fans that even behind the darkness they feel they still wanted to overcome it💚
Not by the moon it's about Romeo and Juliet, and the whole album follows this concept, it's one of their best eras and I think you would love to listen to this album.

I agree with you on songs written by Yugyeom & Youngjae but I think Yugyeom's best song written for GOT7 is 1°. The lyrics wow mind blown. As for Youngjae, I think his best SONG written for GOT7 is Nobody Knows (even though he sings solo).
I watched the interview with Jackson when he said that and I think he was more so talking about his personal journey. If you look at Jackson's earlier solo music it was very trendy but not very personal. He has tried so many different styles with his solo music but he says that his Magic Man album will be the rawest and most honest music he has put out. Of course, there is an element of commercial control with kpop music and a lot of songs that were produced and just given to the group but they have all written and produced songs for the group which usually are the ones fans love the most. All Ahgase know Got-7 b-sides are gems because they are not so commercially focused as the title tracks. Their comeback in May will be the first time that they have complete creative control. I am so interested to see how they show their true colors as a group. Also, it's cute how you whisper ahgase everytime you see a bird :)
My favorite things about watching reaction videos about GOT7 is the "auto-smile" reactors doing without realizing it. And I enjoy yours 😊. Eclipse is the title song for Spinning Top album. They then did a World Tour with Spinning Top in 2019. The last one then Covid happened. I saw them in Dallas TX for the first time and the concert was so fun and so amazing. Best time ever!

I think Jackson was talking about the fact that Got7 couldn't freely do the music they wanted to do when they were under JYP, the members especially Jay B wrote a lot of songs that were rejected by their label. Kpop groups under big agencies have a lot of pressure to get results so it's not always about what kind of music the artists want to release but more about what the public want to buy. Bambam's hit «Slow mow» for exple was written by Got7 and got rejected. That being said the members wrote a lot of songs who got released too like Not by the moon, You are, Teenager, (JB), Breath ( Youngjae), Love you better, I am me ( Jinyoung)...so I don't think they were only doing commercial songs or things they were forced to sing. What Jackson stated has also a lot to do with the idol's image when you are under a big company there are things you can't sing or do. I am glad that Jackson feels more free now, his last song «Blow» for exple shows a way more sexy side of him. Being a solo artist comes with more artistic freedom, if you follow Got7 solo work since they left their company you can clearly see that each member has his own music style and vibe that's why I can't wait for Got7's comeback ! PS : Got7 has japanese songs too «Love loop» is a masterpiece !

Each of them have different colors and since they have been releasing their solo songs that are really different from each other, it's really hard to know what to anticipate. I never admit that I am a kpopers because I only stan GOT7, I listen to kpop and korean song in general, whenever the song sounds good I'll listen and sing to it.. But GOT7 group are so special to me, I listen to all of their song and keep streaming, I get to know them in 2017, pretty late actually, that's when I officially get my own smartphone😆 I'm obsessed with this group since then until now and 4Ever will, miss to seeing them all together again🥹

I am obsessed with GOT7. I love every single member. Their voices are amazing and they are absolutely GORGEOUS. I love them as a group and I also love each of their solo works and units. I agree that JayB's voice is so distinctive and is unmatched in kpop. If I HAD to choose a bias it would be JayB but I'm a strong OT7 fan.
Three of my favorite GOT7 songs are "I won't Let You Go", "NaNANa" (because it so upbeat how can you not love it) and "Last Piece". Please check them out. Also some other groups to consider: Mamamoo: "Starry Night," "Where Are We Now," "Windflower," and a must see is "Decalcomanie," ( The dance version video). EXO: "Universe," (My fav song of theirs so far), "Hear Me Out," "Cream Soda," ( From their newest album) and a must see is the concert version of D.O singing "For Life" in English! Not by the moon is also one of my fave. And tbh, every time I'm listening to YOU ARE I got teary-eyed hahahhahaa I just love them so muchhhh & I felt their love w that song.
GOT7 have been one of my top groups for years(mainly because of Youngjae), but I have one MAJOR gripe with them. Youngjae and JayB are BOTH main vocals, yet Youngjae usually gets a line or two in the chorus and a little ad-libbing at the end. Youngjae has one of the absolute BEST voices EVER, and is totally underused. That's why I liked their year of solo work so much. I actually got to hear Youngjae.
Watching ECLIPSE live at their concert made me lose my voice even though it's just the intro song 🙉 My bias is Jinyoung but long hair Jay B and his sweet voice made me scream on top of my lungs hahaha

We all are really excited for their cb!! In the past one of the problems we (fans and even got7 mentioned in some lives in the past) had with the ex-company was that some of their title songs didn't show their true color (sound), Eclipse had a lot of changes in the lyrics, sound, etc. And the original song was so much better but JYP asked Jay B to change it like 10 times, JS mentioned in an interview that his favorite song from that album was Eclipse, but the original versions without the intervention of JYP, however most of the members mentioned that they wanted Page as the tittle, but it got rejected. I recommend you to check their performance of Page is soooooo good!!! Another song we all feel like GOT7 color is Teenager.

I just wanted to point out that the triangles in the You Are mv are actually necklaces that all the members have and it forms their logo when put together. During this time, Jackson had just established his own label "Team Wang" so there were a lot of rumours going around that he was going to leave the group but they released this song and the album's called "7 for 7' and each member took part in writing and the producing the songs on it. It was their way to reassuring fans they were "7 or nothing" as Jackson likes to say.

I think Jackson was talking about the fact that Got7 couldn't freely do the music they wanted to do when they were under JYP, the members especially Jay B wrote a lot of songs that were rejected by their label. Kpop groups under big agencies have a lot of pressure to get results so it's not always about what kind of music the artists want to release but more about what the public want to buy. Bambam's hit «Slow mow» for exple was written by Got7 and got rejected. That being said the members wrote a lot of songs who got released too like Not by the moon, You are, Teenager, (JB), Breath ( Youngjae), Love you better, I am me ( Jinyoung)...so I don't think they were only doing commercial songs or things they were forced to sing. What Jackson stated has also a lot to do with the idol's image when you are under a big company there are things you can't sing or do. I am glad that Jackson feels more free now, his last song «Blow» for exple shows a way more sexy side of him. Being a solo artist comes with more artistic freedom, if you follow Got7 solo work since they left their company you can clearly see that each member has his own music style and vibe that's why I can't wait for Got7's comeback !
PS : Got7 has japanese songs too «Love loop» is a masterpiece !
FYI Jinyoung is the actor in the group. He is now in BH Entertainment where he is focusing on acting in his solo career and you can see his kdramas and movies on Netlfix also. Currently his movie is Yaksha. Please check out his dramas and movies.
Jinyoung's the actor but let's not forget Youngjae as well! He's been in multiple dramas over the last couple years as part of the main cast and was even in a musical. His drama "So Not Worth It" on Netflix is really worth watching, it's hilarious.

Thank you for this reaction! To be honest, ahgases also don't know what to expect from the group. Each of them have different colors and since they have been releasing their solo songs that are really different from each other, it's really hard to know what to anticipate. I never admit that I am a kpopers because I only stan GOT7, I listen to kpop and korean song in general, whenever the song sounds good I'll listen and sing to it.. But GOT7 group are so special to me, I listen to all of their song and keep streaming, I get to know them in 2017, pretty late actually, that's when I officially get my own smartphone😆 I'm obsessed with this group since then until now and 4Ever will, miss to seeing them all together again🥹

"You Are" and "The New Era" is my favorite got7 song till now. And eclipse choreography is the best I've ever seen. I think all of got7's choreography is very unique and cool. No doubt they are the best in performance.

I am obsessed with GOT7. I love every single member. Their voices are amazing and they are absolutely GORGEOUS. I love them as a group and I also love each of their solo works and units. I agree that JayB's voice is so distinctive and is unmatched in kpop. If I HAD to choose a bias it would be JayB but I'm a strong OT7 fan.
Three of my favorite GOT7 songs are "I won't Let You Go", "NaNANa" (because it so upbeat how can you not love it) and "Last Piece". Please check them out.

Also....check out KRock! CNBLUE...these guys are amazing too! They don't dance. They are a band. "I'm Sorry" is one of my favorites by them. They have a lot of great songs. They are also actors.

Always interesting to see whether a first time listener likes Never Ever or not - I didn't realize until recently how divisive it is lol. It's my personal favorite (but I guess I'd say that to most of their songs).

GOT7 is one of my ults and hearing about the comback made me want to cry.
Not by the moon is also one of my fave. And tbh, every time I'm listening to YOU ARE I got teary-eyed hahahhahaa I just love them so muchhhh & I felt their love w that song.
GOT7 have been one of my top groups for years(mainly because of Youngjae), but I have one MAJOR gripe with them. Youngjae and JayB are BOTH main vocals, yet Youngjae usually gets a line or two in the chorus and a little ad-libbing at the end. Youngjae has one of the absolute BEST voices EVER, and is totally underused. That's why I liked their year of solo work so much. I actually got to hear Youngjae.
Watching ECLIPSE live at their concert made me lose my voice even though it's just the intro song 🙉 My bias is Jinyoung but long hair Jay B and his sweet voice made me scream on top of my lungs hahaha

In the past one of the problems we (fans and even got7 mentioned in some lives in the past) had with the ex-company was that some of their title songs didn't show their true color (sound), Eclipse had a lot of changes in the lyrics, sound, etc. And the original song was so much better but JYP asked Jay B to change it like 10 times, JS mentioned in an interview that his favorite song from that album was Eclipse, but the original versions without the intervention of JYP, however most of the members mentioned that they wanted Page as the tittle, but it got rejected. I recommend you to check their performance of Page is soooooo good!!! Another song we all feel like GOT7 color is Teenager.

Thank you for this reaction! I love your honesty! It's okay, Never Ever isn't my fav track either lol. I just wanted to point out that the triangles in the You Are mv are actually necklaces that all the members have and it forms their logo when put together. During this time, Jackson had just established his own label "Team Wang" so there were a lot of rumours going around that he was going to leave the group but they released this song and the album's called "7 for 7' and each member took part in writing and the producing the songs on it. It was their way to reassuring fans they were "7 or nothing" as Jackson likes to say.
