  • Hey!
This is my original piano arrangement of "Light of the Seven" from the final episode of Game of Thrones Season 6, Inspired by Kyle Landry's version. Once the song got official, I've recieved a lot of requests. So here it is! :)
I'm not sure if this is true, but I've read in some comments that this is the first GoT soundtrack to include a piano. The more you know!

Akmigone of the House Stark, first of his name, King of the Virtuosos, Lord of the Piano, Master of Cinematic effects, Breaker of finger and keyboards, Savior of Film Soundtracks, dominating the walk of fame of Composers and the brightest star shining upon the landscapes of Westeros!

Amazing technical skill, but more importantly, very maturely played. The slow pianissimo segments need to be played almost agonizingly so... and you did it. You showed great subtlety and restraint for one so young. Bravo, sir.

You made me start playing piano again, after a car accident I lost feeling in part of my body. You inspired me to want to try and learn again thank you. ... You are far more than a pianist, you need a better camera though, your fingers move faster than the camera can pick up, get a ghosting affect, bravo sir

Never stop pushing your self, I would enjoy to see you play some classics. I am not one to request a melody. That is up to the artist. You have a gift not a talent... you play till your fingers hurt, when they hurt you then play till you can not feel them. Unfortunately for me I cant feel some of my fingers, and memory loss I have to rebuild my finger dexterity. Its a challenge when you realize you lost part of your self, lost within my own mind.

Driving down the Interstate, a coyote ran in front of car, I hit coyote lost control of vehicle. Hit a palm tree and my body compressed at 140mph. Shattered all the bones in my face, broke 60% of the bones in my body.... Now have a metal plate for a face. No feeling in my face and some of my fingers and body. Hard to feel the vibrations of the music and melodies. I will never give up.

I honestly feel that this is better than the original. Your adaptation builds that tension and melancholy present in the actual scene, but does this more effectively than the original track by having a better sense of "motion" to the music itself.

Tack! / WarszawaElvis

In the last three days I've probably listen to it at least 10. Still I am back.
Just remembering when I came here the first time I was scrolling down the comments section. I remember that one comment that said that towards the end of the video it was so freaking dope.
Still coming back after all of those previous visits.

It seems like you played 3:32 - 4:43 in 2 times slower and subsequently accelerated. Because I don't sure that anybodies right hand is physically able to play 4:20 - 4:34. I'll try by the way. If I mistaked it's cool)

    • @akmigone

To be my senpai, you need to climb the piano mountain and later defeat my ninja guardians with nothing but two piano keys. Once you've done that, you'll hear a song, if you play it perfectly a secret door will open. In that door you'll find a map to my secret location, follow the map and I'll be your senpai!

That was an awesome piece of music during the episode, and you do it terrific justice. I'm not very musical so whilst I have the soundtrack and have heard the recording (with orchestra/choir/organ/etc) several times, it wasn't until I heard your version that I realised the last section includes quotes from the GoT title theme too, which you make much clearer. Kudos and respect!
