- Hey!
This is my original piano arrangement of "Light of the Seven" from the final episode of Game of Thrones Season 6, Inspired by Kyle Landry's version. Once the song got official, I've recieved a lot of requests. So here it is! :)
I'm not sure if this is true, but I've read in some comments that this is the first GoT soundtrack to include a piano. The more you know!

Akmigone of the House Targaryen, first of his name, King of the Virtuosos, Lord of the Composers and Protector of the Keyboard.
Michael Kawamura nah... He must be a Stark💪🏻... Akmigone of the House Stark, first of his name, King of the Virtuosos, Lord of the Piano, Master of Cinematic effects, Breaker of finger and keyboards, Savior of Film Soundtracks, dominating the walk of fame of Composers and the brightest star shining upon the landscapes of Westeros!
Better?!
What about the motto? "Arrangements are coming" ?
Thomas Stolz Nah, Targ makes more sense, ‘cause this is fire.
Amazing technical skill, but more importantly, very maturely played. The slow pianissimo segments need to be played almost agonizingly so... and you did it. You showed great subtlety and restraint for one so young. Bravo, sir.
He has great control on his fingers.. and yes, the pianissimo sections are extremely well played. Bravo!
Best arrangement i've heard so far
This is dope as hell
Thank you very much man! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
+Akmigone How about Kung Fu Panda?
you are the best
Akmigone sheet music?
After 4 years it’s still my favorite performance of this piece!
You made me start playing piano again, after a car accident I lost feeling in part of my body. You inspired me to want to try and learn again thank you. ... You are far more than a pianist, you need a better camera though, your fingers move faster than the camera can pick up, get a ghosting affect, bravo sir
This means the world for me, I'm so glad you started learning again :) I'd love to see some of your work if you ever want to upload something, I wish you the best of luck!
Never stop pushing your self, I would enjoy to see you play some classics. I am not one to request a melody. That is up to the artist. You have a gift not a talent... you play till your fingers hurt, when they hurt you then play till you can not feel them. Unfortunately for me I cant feel some of my fingers, and memory loss I have to rebuild my finger dexterity. Its a challenge when you realize you lost part of your self, lost within my own mind.
Actually breaks my heart when I hear these kinds of things. I can never fully understand what you had to go through.
Driving down the Interstate, a coyote ran in front of car, I hit coyote lost control of vehicle. Hit a palm tree and my body compressed at 140mph. Shattered all the bones in my face, broke 60% of the bones in my body.... Now have a metal plate for a face. No feeling in my face and some of my fingers and body. Hard to feel the vibrations of the music and melodies. I will never give up.
Fook Dat Wind up, and kick life right in the ass! You are an inspiring individual.
That bass at 2:40... practicing those octave triplets is insanely hard
I worked pretty hard on those haha :P
***** It sure shows! Well done. I'm dedicating myself to learn your original cover because it's magnificent
Austin Wilder II
Austin Wilder I'm working on those as well right now😅pretty tough.😉
I'm also working on it :)
I honestly feel that this is better than the original. Your adaptation builds that tension and melancholy present in the actual scene, but does this more effectively than the original track by having a better sense of "motion" to the music itself.
Here for the 500th time. Your arrangement is still the best that I've heard after 3 years watching this over and over.
4:20- 4:40 Are you kidding me?
YES! He's Kidding us! A lot of passion in his hands!
Tassos Kard of if you mean the fast octaves they look harder than they are to learn. With some practice you will hit them blindly.
Amazing! Didn't need the strings tho
Alexander Mustermann It's hard. I promise x)
Chill dude you couldn't even beat play happy bday on piano yon nerd
That was amazing Akmigone
Thank you very much Peter, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Best cover of a song that ever made. Watch it and its Marioverehrer video more than 50 times. My dream is to be enough talented and trained to play this.
Long may she reign
Long may be her death for killing queen Margaery
i clicked on this video because after looking at the sheet music i was convinced no one could play this. and here you are probably not much older than me. fuck i wish i had a talent. this is unbelievably impressive. keep it up, you're amazing.
well it was a youtube video with the sheets ahah idk whether its official or not
Charlotte Born thats not talent, its hard work
Jonah Snow I have 100% accuracy sheets
Same here
You hear this then you hear the rest of the covers of this song on the youtube and you think only he can play piano and the rest are crap. But actually they are not bad just this guy is the best.
Oh my god I finally found you! I watched you years ago on my old account and i forgot the login info and lost all my subscriptions. So glad to have found you again dude!
2:35 incredible outcome from this minute to the end, I congratulate you did the best cover I've seen of Light of the Seven!
Beautiful playing man. Diggin' the outside atmosphere and the clips you added in as well. And I love the false climax at 3:07. Great video overall!
And nice touch with the strings
Thank you very much, I'm really glad you enjoyed it :)
This is by far one of the best cover pieces I've ever heard. Don't know why people are moaning about having a better camera? Beethoven never had a HD camera, yet his talent lives on. They need to see past the picture quality and appreciate the talent you have. This makes me want to start practicing classical guitar again. Bravo
The end of the Video is so Epic!! Very Well done! :)
Thank you! :) The ending is my favorite part so I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Akmigone Man, I suck at playing .-.
I think is the favorite part for all of us! Ultra nice work!
You brought me back to those GoT moments...Best version I've ever heard!!!!
Dude your accuracy is absolutely amazing, even the ultra fast right hand octaves at the end are perfectly played! :o
Do you have any advice for practicing accuracy? Very often I do mistakes on high tempo pieces like that :/
start again every time you make a mistake. like, every single time you make a mistake, no exceptions.
louistik Break a fast piece into segments with pauses between them. When you're used to playing each segment you can start combining them for wholly consistent piece.
Tack! / WarszawaElvis
It make three days since that video got out!!! Already, it still feels like it was yesterday.
In the last three days I've probably listen to it at least 10. Still I am back.
Just remembering when I came here the first time I was scrolling down the comments section. I remember that one comment that said that towards the end of the video it was so freaking dope.
Still coming back after all of those previous visits.
Ahah can you believe I've seen that kid grow up on youtube, probably I've discovered his channel 3 or 4 yr ago.
HOLLY MACARONI!!! he've improved his skills of playing, but most of all he really step up his level of arranging his cover all the structure and the evolution of his covers.
Now I am here again! This is a so incredible performance! Impressive!
Не могу перестать смотреть. Его пальцы, летающие по клавишам, и эта мелодия. Просто нет слов. Спасибо👏
This is why piano is the best musical instrument ever made.
The fact that you played that entire piece without a single wrong note with all those octaves is insane. I’ve had this on repeat for the last 2 hours. Amazing job!
A man play the piano so good
I hope I can someday play like that. I played Marimba in High school from 2010-2013 but I was never too good at reading sheet music. Im just really slow at it and its hard for me to keep in time like that. I have a decent piano(synth), a Casio XW-P1, and I hope one day I can play like this. I just cant seem to move my hands fast enough or accurate enough... I will try to learn this... Somehow. I need it in my life.
Jonah Snow never say never!
Jonah Snow he never specified how good he/she was.
To this day I cannot believe that more people don't know about you. You deserve beyond that.
Thank you very much! But I'm so grateful for the support I'm currently receiving :)
Learning this has changed the way I play piano for the better. Thx.
Your left hand is insane!
omgg at last ur smile is so cutee 😂😂
You give me goose bumps, man. This is how Rhaegar would play a keyboards, i think.
Haha. thanks man! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
I learned this piece made by Akmigone and it took a year. This man wrote it 😳
wowww congrats! You play awesome!!! I'm completely impressed!!! Your fingers move like.. I don't know! You are so fast, You've become my idol, never give up!
From 3:14 till the end is everything
I found this video this morning. I have an exam tomorrow. I am studying with this music in the background. Love you man.
Waving your hands at the last shows the pain you took for this thing to happen in reality! 🙌🙌
Love it! And i truly understanding the pain in the arms at the end of those octaves :D *wish i had argerichs unexhaustable arms*
So good man :)
Thank you Jared! :)
Thank you, Johannes, for continuing to create amazing music. I love how far you have come in all the years I have known you. Please always continue to keep music in your life!
That disappointment when you get here and realize you already have liked it - I need more like-buttons ! This is so awesome!
haha I'm really glad you enjoyed it, thanks :)
@@akmigone You know... I still come back to this, and feel the urge to like again xD Nice to see you doing stuff again.
That was amazing!! Welcome to the DGX family bro! Can't wait to release our collab #YamahavsKronos
Thank you very much Hasit, me neither :)
wait what! Where is the collab!!?
Please play this, I beg you to play this, Pleaseeee 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Это блестяще. Спасибо за шикарную работу, буду пересматривать и повторно прослушивать снова и снова.
Love the way you were shaking your hands in the end, the authenticity is brilliant 🔥👌
man I have been watching you for years and have been finding so much joy in the way you play and in your music. please don't ever stop uploading and doing what you're doing.
Thank you so much for your kind words, that really means a lot to hear :) I wont ;)
4:56 - That smileeeeeee. Cute
the best version i found so far, awesome! any chance to get sheets so i can play it for myself :)?
Freddy plays piano yeah I'd like to have sheets too. If you'll find them can you send link?
I still listen to this every day. So good man
The best 5 minutes I've seen on CZcams. I usualy listen this one while I'm working. Awesome
Could we get the sheet music for this please? I'm dying to play and learn your version of this
I've tried using the midi file to generate sheet music but it's a bit off.
Made the sheet music. Check my channel
omg thank you so much
TheBKangsta did you ever get the proper sheet music for this?
Yes, please!
leibniz154 thanks so much, I know I’m late but I’ve been looking for a collective few hours. I hope it works
hi i absolutely LOVE this rendition of Light Of The Seven and i know a simpler rendition of it, however i want a challenge and this seems really elegant and challenging. i know theres a synthesia version of it however its complicated to learn from those to me, do you happen to have sheet music to this? to me sheet music is easier to learn from (shockingly) thank you, hope to see more from you
4 years late to the party but... damn. That was well done. You wouldn't believe how many arrangements of this I've heard but this one is very unique thanks to your personal flair. *claps*
This is the best light of seven .. I wish I have this talent like yours .. good job man
Your face at the end haha! :D I know this feeling burning hands haha!
Great performance! I love it, respect :)
serious question: how Long does it take you for this song to play? I want to lern it too (already can play a short part), but i cant find the sheets.
Where did you buy it?
He arranged it ;)
I will never forget watching that episode for the first time. I knew from the very first note of this song.....something was WRONG. I looked over at my sister wide eyed and said, "They NEVER use piano."
After so many years and this is still my favorite
Best arrangement ever, there’s no doubts. Idol
How much hours did you spend learning this? :)
...and then they all died, the end- George R R Martin, Last thing we see at the end of the show.
Walter Carvalho Everything happened in the eye of a giant. Whose name is Martin. Maybe we know things.
Walter Carvalho i
Goodness gracious me.... (splutters, choking on pipe smoke) that was phenomenal 👏
This is one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced in my whole life. The arrangement, the touch, the way you play it. It's just perfection~
How long did it take you to learn this piece, and for how long have you been playing the piano? I'd like to learn this someday but right now it's way too advanced for me. I was completely amazed when i was watching this, while you might just be the same age as me, i can even feel the hard work you put into this piece. Well done my man
Walid El Bouhali I’ve been playing 9 years since I was six. I’m learning this now. There isn’t a way to speed up progress once you get to some point. Just time and practice. It usually takes 3-6 months to learn a piece that really challenges you.
Walid El Bouhali
Update: performing this in 3 hours
Damnit, why did I stop playing the piano when I was young...
neoKGaming u can still start playing again :) I started with 21
28 for me.
Young me was also a jerk. My wife just bought a piano but it's new so she hogs it.
im 28 and i will start soon.its not about age. its all about courage.
My father started learning the harmonica at 60 and is quite proficient now (2 years later). You would think he learned it in his youth.
I’ve never get tired of this
It is an honor to ear you play this beautiful song like you do. Congratulations Man.
Ayy you have a DGX 630 :)
I do, it's really great! :) Some keys are broken on my Kronos so I'm thinking about using it more often now :)
***** #YamahaDGXClub ;)
Man I'm trying really hard but it's so difficult to play (at least from 2:20 onwards)
The left hand at 2:40 is absolutely killing me
Best cover i ever saw, so far. And i saw plenty.
I know I'm a little late to the party... this is the best arrangement out there. Currently on page 6/8 thanks to leibniz154 for the transcription! It takes a lot of practice! Amazing job Akmigone, this is awesome.
Je suis submergée devant cette beauté et un tel talent !! Respect mec
Merci beaucoup pour vos aimables paroles, respect Google Translate :P
Amazing! :D
Thanks man! :D
Light of the Seven was not one of my favorite GoT tracks until I heard this. Absolutely amazing. How I wish I could play like you!
The talent shown here is to the very letter of WONDERFUL. I am left in awe...
It seems like you played 3:32 - 4:43 in 2 times slower and subsequently accelerated. Because I don't sure that anybodies right hand is physically able to play 4:20 - 4:34. I'll try by the way. If I mistaked it's cool)
I don't remember speeding up the clip, nor playing it 2 times slow. But I guess I just forgot it :P
The movements in his arms and upper body are too fluid to be sped up, I personally believe this is 100% authentic!
YES!!!
Beautiful, well done. So much emotion you put in, what a talent!
This video deserves much more views. Just beatiful.
damn you were posessed at the end
Akmigone please be my senpai and teach me to play like that... ;-;
To be my senpai, you need to climb the piano mountain and later defeat my ninja guardians with nothing but two piano keys. Once you've done that, you'll hear a song, if you play it perfectly a secret door will open. In that door you'll find a map to my secret location, follow the map and I'll be your senpai!
+Akmigone Anything to get and make my senpai... *faints with excitement*
by far the best cover for this piece.
Woah, thank you very much! I'm really glad you think so :)
Trust me and i follow a lot of pianists on YT .. some might come up with more complex arrangements, but nothing i've listened to so far was as beautiful as this.
This made me start playing the piano again. You played this so beautifully, truly epic!!
your hand looks like a humming bird at the end
That's in fast forward..
Patras Nikos Bad camera.. Not sped up.
Naw man that was all normal speed lol. Idk how he is even able to accurately hit those notes at such a speed. Its didnt look normal, but it waaas that's the crazy part!!
It's obviously sped up, or at least the last third of the video is... Look at the way he moves, and I don't mean his hands but his whole body.
buineto called ghosting...
People play flight of the bumblebee wayyyyy faster than this live. Doubt this is sped up.
You are the most underrated pianist i've ever seen on youtube by far
This is the best piano cover i've saw so far. I often come and listen to this masterpiece, it gives me shivers every time. Continue playing until you can't (valar morghulis) you're a-ma-zing.
Мне срочно нужны ноты. )
4:20 what a fuck?
Алишер Мустафин lol yes he is a fuck
That was an awesome piece of music during the episode, and you do it terrific justice. I'm not very musical so whilst I have the soundtrack and have heard the recording (with orchestra/choir/organ/etc) several times, it wasn't until I heard your version that I realised the last section includes quotes from the GoT title theme too, which you make much clearer. Kudos and respect!
Thank you very much for your kind words :) I'm glad you could hear it, I wanted to make it a bit clearer for my arrangement since it was a bit "hidden" in the original
Love the Kyle Landry-esque style to this. hecka dope bruv
The best Light of the Seven arrangement I've ever seen!
God bless Ramin Djawadi, anyone can play this... but not anyone can create this kind of music.
Not anyone can play this...but I get your point ;)
Addicted to your rendition. Its beautiful!!
I am amazed every time I listen to and watch this ...
It’s a best song what i’ve listened before ever truly....
I usually don't put any comments but as I was desperately searching for a nice piano cover of this music, I found yours and this is by far the best one! You really captured the melancholic and tragic atmosphere of this piece, even sublimating it. It's close to musical and technical perfection, thank you for sharing it!
Your interpretation of this masterpiece sounds even more wonderful. I really love it. I found this 3 days ago and it has been on repeat ever since. Good job man!!
why this video don't have at least one million visualizations?? it was so fucking awesome, you are incredible '0'
