Every year, my peppers are hits and misses when it comes to getting a good germination rate. When I get back I will try your method. Thank you and take care

My first grandchild is graduating this year and wants to do a Mexican based food theme. You mentioned you use jalapeños a lot. Could you give me some suggestions? By the way, my favorite pepper is the habanada peppers you spoke up. They are the best of two worlds…great flavor without heat, because our old tummies can’t handle too much heat.😄 Thanks for another great video!

Oh congratulations!!! ♥️ the main way I use them is something called cowboy candy! I’ll see if I can find a link or video. I probably can around 24 pints for a year! And we use it on soo much! It’sweet and hot , on nachos , tacos! It’s a great condiment, I also make a pepper jelly! It’s great on cream cheese. But that’s mainly how we use it! The sweet cuts the heat. Especially if you don’t like it too hot! Also my husband fills them with cream cheese and wrap with bacon then he puts them on the smoker!

www.foodiewithfamily.com/candied-jalapenos/. This is the recipe I used. I also dice the jalapeños instead of slices. Also her recipe made way more liquid than you need. So you can do more peppers than she calls for. I did Mexican for my daughter’s graduation as well. Did it taco bar style with all the choices, taco, burritos, taco salad. Big success.

I have 19 jars of cowboy candy in storage. I used jalapeños and banana peppers in mine because I was afraid only using jalapeños would be too hot. My ultra picky husband who in all of our 49 years of marriage has never eaten a pepper of any kind loves this stuff! We eat in omelets, cornbreads, potato salad, etc. 🥰 The leftover syrup is good brushed on hot cornbread (a trick from a local restaurant) and as a marinate or sauce for grilling things…especially salmon. Why had I not thought of it for graduation? Thank you! I will give the jelly a try this summer. Thanks for the great video and all the help. I really appreciate it!
