It is impossible cause this is horrendous
One day in the future, if a battleship is ever returned again, and is facing down its enemy opposite, a sailor on one of those ships who has heard of this will hear it in the their mind screaming as loud as the guns can roar.
We gonna be blasting it over the ships pa and hailing systems lol
@@tylermcniece574 plus we would be on the battleship bearing the name "Dreadnought"
Im sure battleships will make a return.
you cannot fight a war with just planes and radars.
@@KossolaxtheForesworn Maybe in space, but in our current navies? Unless we redesign what makes a battleship for the modern environment, then we probably never will. Battleships are big, heavily armoured ships with large cannons, modern warfare involves hitting your targets before you can even see them, which involves utilizing stuff like radar, planes, and most importantly; missiles
@@Furydragonstormer time to make the USS texas fly in space :3
Remember, only one of the original Dreadnoughts still floats today.
Despite this, the legacy and memory of them all still remains in multiple navies across the world.
And now, they are eternalized in song by Sabaton, making their legend live on, even when the last of them joins the rest.
I’m proud to say that, thanks to a naval museum, I have been on a dreadnought.
They just towed the last remaining dreadnought from World War 1 and 2, the USS Texas, to Galveston TX to get repairs done to her leaking hull. When they get it finished, I plan on going to see her.
With some gymnastics, Mikasa might also be considered dreadnaught (though technicaly pre-dreadnaught and a bit small, she is from simillar period)
@@kubapicha5124 she's a predred. a 2*2 arrangement with a heavy secondary battery, though she did inspire the creation of the dreds.
Personally, I feel the Heavy Battle Cruiser U.S.S. Constitution class was the Federation’s “Dreadnaught” till the need ended. I’m in Texas and Sabaton needs a big turnout crowd and for morale support as they were at the USS Texas! God bless Sabaton for honoring the warriors before us!
Somehow, all of the naval-related Sabaton songs are absolute masterpieces.
@@supersentaifanboywhich makes them even better because dreadnought feels like a prelude to bismarck, midway tho feels like a school gang sayin "we meet after school "

@@boiledtea479 What I meant is that not every Sabaton song is liked by me, but the naval-related ones always hit the spot.
@@IchigoShinagami oh
both dreadnought and bismarck songs felt sooo massive
"& the dreadnoughts did NOTHING AT ALL"
damn this shows the fear of just SEEING these colossal giants, they intimidated before a single fire was shot
At first listen I heard also "did nothing at all", and it felt very epic. Like the ship is so terrifying in appearance that it doesn't even need to fire to win a battle.
& the dreadnoughts DREAD nothing at all
saying that the class of ship DREAD-NOUGHT fears nothing
@@maxonym_ either way, To me they both did NOTHING(As fear was first before firing) & DREADED nothing at all(meaning they they DREADED NOTHING)

Metal and orchestral classical music are both amazing on their own. Combining the two creates something so amazing words cannot describe it.
You can describe it with two words: "Epic" and "Immortalized".
Heavy metal and classical music have more similarities than one might think
I can visualize it as an Iron Clad or a japanese Battleship since both are fancy and both are metal
When Orchestra and Metal gets mixed, it becomes an Elegant Intensity
*Sounds like, not becomes

Dreadnought is literally the definition of boss music
In the North Sea lies Jutland, the stage for the biggest naval battle of the war. From the cover of darkness, and shrouded by mist, two mighty fleets emerge. They are led by a new class of battleship, one that feared nothing: the Dreadnought.
...Dreadnoughts were on both sides tho my brother xD. Well, the class of ship were. The original was British.

@@ReissStart Im slightly embarassed I didnt notice that when making my own comment ._.

History version, right?
I love the parallel of how the image shows a super dreadnought; a more powerful successor to the original dreadnoughts of which one was shown in the original Dreadnought lyrics video, while the song itself is a more powerful version of the original song.
Battleship Texas would be smiling right now if she could…*Wipes away a tear.* and I live near her.
military grade gansta lean
Hey, as someone who lives in the Galveston area, she is very, very happy because of this song, sabaton saying "COME ON TEXAS!" and her hull finally being repaired!
Dreadnought: "I fear nothing, EVERYTHING fears me!"
I’ve always imagined the guitar solo, being the part of the battle of The Jutland where both fleets of Dreadnoughts clashed at last. Then the chorus at the end was the propaganda machines of the King and the Keizer telling everyone that they won the battle, even though it was more or less a draw.
Kaiser not Keizer.
"...there seems to be something wrong with our bloody ships today..."😞
This makes me feel like im back in the early 20th Century, at the beginning of the Age of the Battleship.
Even today, where Carriers and air power are dominant on the seas, the sight of even a single Battleship can still inspire fear in the minds of the enemy.
Think back to the gulf war in the 90s. The Iraqi feared the guns of the Iowas so much they they surrendered to spotting drones.
With carriers, there is the misplaced hope that if you can just get close enough you can sink her. With a battleship, you get that primordial dread of knowing that it's right there and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.
Now imagine that same ship class that you manage to hit with an artillery shell turns all its main guns on you and the next thing you get to hear before your certain. Death is a mighty bang as they all let’s loose at you and the only thing remembered is temper temper that is sent to the said ship after the fact
This has absolutely no right to hit as hard as it does. I’ve been blasting this while working through the Montana tree in World of Warships. This is hands down the perfect song for it (despite it being slightly more appropriate for the British BB line since the song talks about the HMS Dreadnought)
Enough metal in this song to bring back the age of dreadnoughts
Dreadnought song, shows Iowa class.
All jokes aside, dope reimagining, with clear vocals despite the intensity. Great work.
Well Iowa is by definition a dreadnought. It’s just that by WW2 every battleship was a dreadnought.
Damn, it was the Iowa? my guess was North Carolina. I did know it was American though, those 127mm secondary turrets are pretty distinctive
The original song represented Dreadnoughts.
This song represents the *HMS Dreadnought* herself.
I could just imagine this playing in her debut battle, absolutely decimating all she has outpaced. The British reminding everyone how good we are at boats.
Edit:
Enough salt in these comments to fill the ocean.
Us aussie are good too
by the time hms dreadnought saw combat she was already outdated i think.
@@CC-2062 yes she was, but if the boer war had happened later, she would have been able to show her might!

I thought that there can't be something more powerful and epic than original Sabaton.
But this can't be described better than powerful and epic as Sabaton itself
I keep thinking it’s unbridled firepower, but it’s unrivaled power. Still gives me chills.
I can imagine this song starting with the Dreadnoughts of WW1, then shifting to the _Bismarck_ and _Yamato,_ and then eventually the _Iowa_-class battleship.
This sounds like if Sabaton made their song specifically for a huge theatrical movie. Very nice work.
Great job, even better than the original!
Daring statement... Thank you!
This is the best version of a excelent song! You are amazing, your job will be great in future!
Hello from Brazil! 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thank you so much!
This is the first non offical Sabaton song that I have to play more than once. Best version.
This is definitely amplified when listening to it during a storm
Dude this is a musical masterpiece im acutally could cry
This is officially my favourite sabaton song now. How the hell does this guy do it!?
This is way more powerful than the Dreadnought, in fact it makes the Dreadnought a warship to fear and respect.
Dreadnought is already powerful, but this one puts alot more fear in their foe's eyes.
This hits harder than the ship's cannons themselves.
Can tell this is gonna be a banger (as always)
Awesome dude. I had chills at 10 different points

This is pure ,dead awesome! I only discovered Sabaton purely by accident a few months ago and, I'm hooked I'm not even a metal fan but, these guys really put everything into their performance. It's hard NOT to be as enthusiastic as they obviously are!
This. Is. JAWDROPPINGLY AMAZING! The power that comes from this song is unmatched! Excellent work!
A shadow moves across the water in pursuit
It splits the waves, commands the sea and defies the wind
Instilling fear among its prey, feels nought for itself
Ahead the sea lies calm awaiting the storm
Displace the water in its path
Reveal the cannons, align the guns, unleash their wrath!
Unopposed under crimson skies
Immortalized, over time their legend will rise
And their foes can't believe their eyes, believe their size, as they fall
And the dreadnoughts dread nothing at all
A hull of steel and all big guns to serve the fleet
Unrivalled firepower riding the waves to war
A devastating blow will send their foes down below
Fearless armada now bombarding their shore
Light up the night when cannons roar
In fear of nothing, they lead the navy into war!
Unopposed under crimson skies
Immortalized, over time their legend will rise
And their foes can't believe their eyes, believe their size, as they fall
And the dreadnoughts dread nothing at all
The North Sea has drawn them near
The fleet of the High Seas approach
A contest of titans commence
These days will dictate their fate
The grand fleet prepares their guns
Unleashed as the dreadnoughts clash at last
Unopposed under crimson skies
Immortalized, over time their legend will rise
And their foes can't believe their eyes, believe their size, as they fall
And the dreadnoughts dread nothing at all
So strong, strong like a real DREADNOUGHT.
The main battery of a battlecruiser or dreadnought battleship was so powerful that the deck of the ship had to be cleared to avoid injuring the crew, meaning that a ship could not fire its main battery and any non-turreted guns (like anti-aircraft guns) at the same time.
The scene in "Under Siege" where Tommy Lee Jones is blown off his feet and briefly deafened by the blast of one of the USS Missouri's 16-inch guns is not an exaggeration.
Uss Missouri is one of the Iowa class batter ships which is my favorite class of battleship
In some bits I get chills just because of how powerful it feels
01:40 is so powerful holy smokes
Pretty good rendition, but the symphony version overpowers and overcomplicates the tone, making it sound blurry and confusing - Potentially try using EQ on the symphony version so quiet down the bass and melody so it gives that weighty feel, without the confusing extra bits. Keep up the good work.
There's a version with quieter orchestra, maybe you'll like it better: czcams.com/video/ZPHPU_Luhrk/video.html
:)
nah, it makes the base song sound terrifying. it is literally perfect.
These compliment each other so perfectly. It's beautiful. I can't believe Sabaton didn't put these together themselves even though they released both.
sure war is pain for those that face their end in it but it is in the nature of the entire universe .... u can not escape it ...
feel joyful for each day of peace u have, and thank those that died in wars for you to have this freedom to listen to this great song
A couple of times I've imagined Sabaton making a surprise appearance at one of Andre Rieu's concerts. This is exactly how I imagine that would sound.
why is the chorus so fucking hard. it hits like a dreadnaught shell to the face.

Not only powerful but the sounds of the giants.
When I think "The Most Powerful" about this album, then maybe next one after stormtroopers will be "The Valley of Death" or the "Hellfighters"?

Holy shit that chorus repeat is powerful! This is awesome!
Oooh this song is sending shivers down my body just from how powerfull it sounds, great job
You mixed the sympthony and the real one thats clever
damn, this just really hits so much harder than the original (which I've decided is my favorite sabaton song). They really knew what they were doing putting out a symphonic version, probably planning for someone to combine the two. The second chorus where you added the soaring french horn version from the soundtrack edition is so fitting, it puts you on the high seas with winds blowing. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album, I think I'm anticipating Sarajevo the most! Excellent work, I especially love that you make multiple mixes to tweak minor issues people have with the main one so everyone can be happy! Keep on doing what you're doing!
Me playing wows:
"BATTLE STATION, FUCKING FULL AHEAD BOAT"
"GENERAL QUARTERS, MAN YOUR BATTLESTATIONS. TIME FOR THE ENEMY TO FIND OUT WHY WE'RE DREADNOUGHTS THE HARD WAY"
I know it’s not what the song is about, but it fits when my dreads stomp across the board. For even in death they still serve.
Just a combination of original and symphonic version with a bit changes. But this is great
Made me shiver / 5. Ah man the chorus hits hard
I love Sabaton and their songs, I cannot express how much I love this version of Dreadnought, I loved the original, but this just takes it to a whole new lvl
Just like the song says...
"Unopposed under crimson skies, immortalized over time"
Words can not describe how absolutely awesome this is.
This is my favorite of the album.
Thank you for making this.
Having the hook repeat itself after the first part was a brilliant idea. Why didn‘t you stick to it throughout the entire song?
I wanted to but it would have killed the unique epicness of the first one. In that case less was indeed more (in my opinion). (But I will release an extended version of the original song with the repeats.)
