Ive never done a comment like this and i know the chances of you seeing this are low but i just want to let you all know how much you've inspired me these past few years, especially you Ammar. You remind me of me when im at my happiest. ever since i was little ive always been fascinated with space, not because of the stars or aliens, but the worlds beyond ours. when i watch your videos thats how i feel. I feel like there is so much more to this world and i love it all. i saw a trainhopping video you did a couple years back in the Sahara and have been obsessed with it ever since. the Sahara, the train, the people, all seemed so unreal. It blew my mind that you guys did that and still does to this day. I know that even if you guys do see this that would be pretty impossible to pull off but i have hope. I hope you guys see this, youve literally made part of who i am today, that part that i cant find in anyone else, that part that just needs to be awakened by inspiring people like you. I promise i will never let go of my inner child, i promise to find more like me so that we can be like you. I love you all, I will always seek discomfort. God Bless.

My first dream as a child was becoming an astronaut and to this day I'm still chasing this dream. I'm currently on the way to achieve my masters degree in Aerospace Engineering. After which I plan to start flight school whilst eagerly waiting for the next call of ESA astronauts! Ammar, you and the rest of the Yes Theory family have only inspired me more to keep chasing this dream, because I believe I can make it a reality! This astonishing video proves once again that the impossible is in fact possible no matter what people tell you! Much love from Belgium! ❤️👨🏻‍🚀🪂

At 60 years old, I too am a free child. I grew up in an era where people weren’t very tolerant of each other. My dream, even at 7 years old was to bring harmony. So much so that I would draw posters that were hung in the hallways of my school that was integrated for the first time ever. My dream hasn’t changed. Now, as I have become older, I love all things Egypt. Watching your adventure was a joy. Thank you for sharing.

Just like many will comment below, I was in tears multiple times watching this. I feel like I've been on this journey with all of you from the videos, to the book, since close to the beginning.
Thank you for showing me and the rest of us that dreams do come true as long as you work, put the time in, and are relentless in the pursuit.
For that, I say thank you.
*To my childhood dream, I wanted to travel the world, just like my mom.
She was a travel agent for many of her younger years. Sadly, she passed away a little over a year ago from a rare disease called Scleroderma.
Last year I ran my first marathon and raised $2,700 for Scleroderma research in honour of her name. I would love to do this as well in honour of her.
If I'm not chosen, I'm just glad to have shared some of my thoughts and feelings to the world. God bless you all.

My lifelong dream since I was a child, is to travel the world, and have the ability to bring my parents along. It is hard to travel at such a young age and to bring your parents along is harder. I haven’t done this yes, and I wish that one day, I will be able to fulfill this dream.

That is crazy how that video was 7 years ago. I started to watch this channel back when I was in high school. This channel helped me get out of my comfort zone. Since then, I've traveled to 7 countries and many cities throughout the US. One of my childhood dreams was to become a physical therapist and help support my single parent mom. And I am proud to say that I am currently a first year physical therapy student. My goal is to make her proud because she has supported me throughout this entire journey. Getting to skydive over the pyramids would be a dream of mine that I cannot even think that is possible. I have been wanting to skydive since I graduated undergrad in 2020, but COVID delayed it. I am fortunate that my boyfriend knew this and booked me a skydiving trip for my birthday last year and fell in love with the trill of falling through the sky.

Ammar!!! It gives me goosebumps to see you fulfilling your dream. And the whole production-it's incredible to see the progress. I'm just finishing Matt's book right now, and connecting all the dots and timelines about the whole story and seeing it here made me tear up a bit🥺
About my childhood dream. As a girl from the city of Prague in the Czech Republic, I always sought more warmth, sea, and palms (we always want something we don't have). I wanted to be a world-known adventurer going on expeditions in tropical countries, helping the environment and endangered animals. I am 24 now and have spent the last couple of years traveling around the world, finishing a degree in environmental management, and teaching yoga. Soon, I will go back to SE Asia to volunteer and backpack. And I can say I owe a lot of that to you guys. Without your videos, I might have never stepped out of my comfort zone and booked the first one-way ticket. :) THANK YOU💛 btw. If you would ever planned to shoot in Prague, I got y'all!!! 🥰

I always dreamed about travelling the world without worrying about tomorrow or looking back. And I did escape home and traveled solo for over a year.. There is still so much to see! But it also teached me how important it is to have a place to call "home". I'm so happy for you!

Hi, my name is Dhara and I'm a 23 year old living in the US. I have been following your journey in Yes Theory since Project 30, so when I saw the thumbnail of this video I was clicking on it before I even registered what I was about to watch. I am so happy for you Ammar! Getting to finally see your home again and accomplish your long held dream brought tears of joy to my eyes. Seeing you struggle and being constantly rejected and told no, I had wondered if you would ever make it here and have the courage to continue pursuing it. You've just accomplished such a core pillar of the yes theory story and I feel the gravity it. This story has beyond inspired me. I can't wait to see you build that city of seekers and like-minded individuals that you hope to one day.
Since I was a child, I have dreamed of working or volunteering in wildlife conservation. When I was around 9 years old, my parents created this campfire area in our backyard. Given the state of the environment with the glaciers melting and TREMENDOUS carbon emissions from a campfire, little me had to do something to stop it. So I put up posters all over my house protesting the campfire to save the penguins. It's a silly story, but it was the manifestation of that deep desire to help the environment and animals in need. Guided by high parental expectation and societal pressure, I ended up in mechanical engineering at a job I didn't enjoy. After a year, I quit in pursuit of figuring out what I really want to do with my life (about 3 months ago). In my soul-searching journey, I have gone back to my root desire of wildlife conservation and reached out to small group in the Bolivian Amazon that rescues wildlife (such as monkeys, jaguars, etc.) and rehabilitates them back into the jungle. I am now planning a trip this summer to spend my time there as a work exchange . I am as excited as I am terrified, since the conditions there are much different than how I spent most of my life (no electricity, more rustic conditions, snakes, bullet ants, tarantulas, high heat, and a lot of mosquitos) but my biggest desire is to push my limits. I know this will and so I am excited for my personal journey and everything I will learn about myself through this adventure.
One of the other dreams of mine since I found you all was honestly to meet you and go on an adventure. This group has so fundamentally changed the person I am and the way I have viewed life. From growing up in an immigrant family household with many limiting beliefs ingrained in me, you all are honestly what has shown me that there can be more to life than just what you see your parents and the people around you do. That you have the power to break your own preceptions of yourself and pursue the life you want however unconventional. And since connecting to this ideology I have been on a mission to continue breaking my self-created limitations. Yes Theory to me was like the pyramids to young Ammar haha.
To end this note, I just wanted to say again how amazing this story is and how inspired I am by you and the whole team. The group continues to evolve and it has been a priveledge to get to see this beautiful story!

Seeing a true childhood dream come true after everything that happened with Ammar is INCREDIBLE. Fucking love everything about this, your channel and (haven‘t met you yet but) you guys in general.
My childhood dream, as far as I can remember, has been visiting the national parks of Canada. Walking between the biggest trees of the world and being in breath taking nature.

My first dream has been to cycle 40 000 km across the world… Which is the circumference of our beautiful Earth. I cycled so far 12 000, across 32 countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East but had to put this dream aside for awhile to focus on my work and making a living. Every video of Yes theory gets me closer to jumping on my bike again and fulfilling this childhood dream of mine. Thanks guys and Mabrook Ammar !! The best video on the platform

My childhood dream was to be an artist. When I was five my aunt lived with us and she was an artist. She had the coolest friends who would all clamour into her room with her and talk art. They had the coolest dyed hair imaginable so to five year old me that was awesome. I remember her room would be strewn with paint tubes and canvases. So naturally, at five years old that was what I was going to do with my life. It's a pursuit I am still endeavouring and one that I haven't regret saying no to for one minute.

The first dream I can remember was that I wanted to live in the United States. I was 8 and living in my home country The Netherlands. I didn't know how I was going do it, I didn't know when, I didn't even know why. I only knew that that was something that I was going to do. No matter what. I guess the American dream spoke to me. 13 years later, I am now 21 years old and I can proudly say that I have achieved that dream. I am now studying Psychology and Music at my dream school here in California and I'm having the time of my life! I am so thankful for this amazing opportunity and I can't wait to see what more the future has in store for me❤

What a beautiful, beautiful video. I wish I had seen this earlier but still want to share my first dream as a kid. It was to be an archaeologist and study in Egypt. Since I was little seeing the Pyramids and Sphinx has been my dream. My life didn’t take that path unfortunately but it is still my dream many, many years later to one day see the Pyramids in person.
Seeing them from the perspective of your sky dive brought tears to my eyes as did this whole episode. Ammar, you are an amazing person with an incredible pure spirit. My heart smiles for you that you and your Father got to share this incredible experience together.

Watching Ammar soar above the majestic pyramids of Egypt stirred something deep within me. As someone whose childhood was a whirlwind of constant change and new beginnings due to my family's frequent relocations, I've always felt a kinship with the quest for freedom and exploration.
Growing up as an introverted kid in a perpetually shifting environment wasn't easy. Every move meant starting from scratch, making new friends, adapting to different cultures, and even learning new languages like a linguistic chameleon. But amidst the chaos, I developed an unwavering resilience and an insatiable hunger for adventure.
Now, as a quality engineer trapped in the monotonous rhythm of corporate life, I find myself yearning to break free from the confines of routine and rediscover the sense of wonder and possibility that fueled my childhood dreams.
Yes Theory's ethos of embracing discomfort and seizing life's opportunities resonates deeply with me.
Your journey to challenge societal norms and pursue the extraordinary reminds me of the dreams I once held dear but may have buried beneath the weight of adulthood responsibilities.
I've always dreamed of traversing the globe, experiencing diverse cultures, and embarking on my own passion project that aligns with my values.
Yes Theory's videos, from their groundbreaking documentary 'Project Iceman' to Ammar's triumphant skydive above the pyramids, reignite the flickering flame of ambition within me. They've shown me that it's never too late to reclaim my childhood dreams and forge a path towards a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.
So, as I stand at this crossroads of uncertainty, I look to Yes Theory not just for inspiration but for the courage and guidance to step outside my comfort zone, defy expectations, and pursue the extraordinary. Thank you, Yes Theory, for reminding me that the greatest adventures await those who dare to dream and seek discomfort 💪🏼 #LimitationsArePerceptions

Wow, watching this video brought back a flood of memories. As a small kid, I remember visiting the Austrian Alps with my family. I vividly recall taking the cable car up the mountain, feeling the excitement build with each passing moment.
But what stands out the most in my memory is the sight of another peak looming above us, just out of reach. I was too young to tackle the hike to that higher peak, but oh, how badly I wanted to see the world from its summit. In that moment, my cildhood dream was born within me, a dream to do the seemingly impossible and then behold the beauty only a few get to lay eyes upon.
Watching this video, I am reminded of that childhood longing. It's amazing how a single experience can ignite a passion that lasts a lifetime. Thank you for taking me on this journey and reminding me of the beauty that inspired my very first dream.

I was so in love with Egypt and I am 31 now, yet it's not fulfilled. 1 anf half yrs ago I went to Egyptian Embassy made a visa, visa was approved and yet due to some circumstances I was not able to go and Inshallah some day I really wish to see the Pyramids. Whenever I open my passport I see Egyptian Visa without a stamp. You have waited for 7yrs and I have been waiting for more than 17yrs. Moved from India to Bahrain and Egypt is closer now so ya Inshallah soon this childhood dream will come true.

What is the first dream I ever had as a kid? Adventure and fiction always went hand in hand with me, and so naturally, I always dreamt of being an author. From writing random short stories to jotting down every random plot idea that came to my young mind, it was always my dream. Now, as an adult, I'm making it happen. I've started writing my first book, a sci-fi dystopian, and man has it been a journey - I'm loving every second of it, and inshallah I believe that it's going to be one of a kind. Each word I write is a step closer to that childhood aspiration, a testament to the unwavering belief that dreams, when nurtured with passion and perseverance, can indeed take flight.

It’s been years since I’ve watched a Yes Theory video. The story telling in this brought me back to a younger me, where I would dream big and not stress as much about the future.
When I was 12, I read a book about mountaineers on Mount Everest. Being born and raised in the Midwest, I have never even seen a mountain. I instantly became obsessed by the wonder of mountaineering and would spend all night on the computer reading about different mountains, routes, and techniques. I told my parents I wanted to climb the 7 summits, but didn’t know where to start. They shrugged it off assuming it was a phase.
I had an uncle who lived in California, and upon mentioning this to him he told me about Mt Whitney. I was intrigued and determined to summit it so I could qualify for bigger mountains.
I mowed lawns all summer to save up enough to buy a plane ticket from Michigan to California. When I flew out there, my uncle and I attempted to hike it but quickly turned around due to weather. The next 4 years I repeated this process every summer, gradually making it higher on the mountain until I finally summited at 16.
Since then, my dream to climb the 7 summits has fizzled away. But my love for the mountains has only grown. When I was 18, I solo thru-hiked the JMT, summiting Whitney again. While on this hike, I met PCT hikers, who were hiking from Mexico to Canada. I was mesmerized by the adventure they were living. After hiking the JMT, I made a goal for myself to hike the PCT.
Fast forward, from 19 - 24, my passion took a backseat as I focused on school and starting my career as a data analyst. However, I started to not feel like myself as my dreams and passion dissolved with the corporate grind. My mental health started deteriorating.
Last year, I worked on finding more of a balance between corporate life and adventure. I took a mountaineering leadership course focused on technical skills and summited some bucket list peaks. I got promoted at work, but felt empty afterwards. My mental health was gradually getting worse, and then I was diagnosed with OCD.
The diagnosis scared me, but also made sense. The past 6 months I’ve been going through difficult therapy but my mental health has been improving.
This year, my goal is to reconnect with my younger self. After years of putting it off, I am quiting my job and hiking the PCT, starting in 2 months!
I am determined to use this time on trail to work on learning to be grateful and not overly self critical. To learn to manage and live with my OCD. To not let it rule me. And to find balance in the positive and negative.
Most importantly, I plan to share my ups and downs with the world. As we are all just doing our best :)

Wow! So surreal as a long-time subscriber to see this all come together for you, I can't even imagine how surreal it really was. I cried throughout the whole video- and all of the flashback clips tp remind us how long of a journey this was really did it for me. I also could not wipe the ear-to-ear grin off my face. Congrats Ammar and Yes Fam!
The first dream I ever had as a kid is a question that took quite a lot of thinking while I sat here staring at the keyboard. It probably sounds cliche, but my first dream was honestly to help animals and people in every way I could think of. It took me until last year at the age of 21, to realize how I could go about making this a reality. This is a bit of a tangent- but I actually decided to move abroad for university because of Yes Theory- I was terrified to move from the US to Canada, as silly as it seems now, three years later. I am in my last semester of school in Canada, and last week decided to accept a masters program spot where the first year is in Ireland and the second year is in Germany. I will be studying European Studies, with a focus on human rights. More than anything I am just thankful for Yes Theory, y'all gave me confidence to do things that little me would never have even thought of.

I have never commented on a youtube video before but this was beautiful and brought me to tears as many of your videos do. The part about reconnecting with your inner child immediately made me think about how literally my first dream ever was to go to Egypt. My dad used to talk about Egypt and pyramids and how we would visit it one day. I understood that in a very literal sense, was very excited and started packing immediately for Egypt as I thought that meant that we would visit it very soon. My packed things sat in my room for a few months before I realized that we are not going there anytime soon and I was very disappointed. Im not sure how old I was, maybe 5 or younger, I'm 22 now and would still love to travel to Egypt and see the pyramids one day. I also used to be insanely afraid of heights. But, I worked on scaffolding and the first day was SCARY. I thought I couldn't do it. But on the third day i miraculously got better dealing with that fear as i was constantly going up and down the scaffolding and realized being that afraid of heights was irrational and i linked that to some other problems in my life like anxiety and that it could also be irrational sometimes, even though i'm still very much anxious but I'm trying to get better with that, especially in the last few months. Skydiving over the pyramids would be a HUGE challenge for me because it still seems scary because there is no structure supporting you like scaffolding. But i feel like it would make me step out of my comfort zone even more and it would be an amazing experience.

my first dream as a child was to be a guitarist, but I had terrible stage fright and anxiety. in college I decided to choose music performance so it would force me to overcome that fear. it is still something I work at now, but long story short I am now in Bristol, uk. I'm currently in my 3rd year of uni studying songwriting. I play lead guitar for a band and we had our first headline gig last Wednesday, at which my anxieties were present but manageable. my next goal is to start a solo project, playing guitar and singing (singing I have low confidence in) so I can follow and expand my dreams further. I hope that seeking discomfort in this new project will help me build confidence in my singing and songwriting ability. I am very internally driven for this, although its videos like this that help relight the spark of passion whenever I need a little boost and am feeling low. Ammar! I’ve said it before, but once again, you are an amazing guy! I can’t imagine how good it would feel to have you as a son, brother, friend or anything else. On top of that, you and everyone else on Yes Theory and Seek Discomfort deserve props for the content that you guys have produced over the years. I’ve been a viewer and fan for a long time. During my high school years, you guys were one of my sources of fueling and achieving my childhood dream!

My childhood dream has always been to see more and more things. From a young age, I’ve always been fascinated by all types of “useless” facts. Since my mom and dad were and still are the biggest help in finding these useless facts, I am very thankful for them providing me with such an amazing upbringing. As a young kid, I wanted to know a lot about the different places we visited as a family, whether it was 10 minutes or 12 hours away. During my childhood, we would spend our holidays driving through different countries in Western Europe with our caravan on the trailer hitch. This grew my love for travelling and exploring different countries, cultures and languages. The love of learning languages came to a hold during high school, when I felt overwhelmed by the pressure and the way of learning the language. I am very blessed by the high level of education in the Netherlands and by learning six languages before turning 18. While some of my language knowledge faded away, my love for travelling has not. With my friends (who luckily also like exploring new places), I have explored some countries, but I am far from satisfied! During my university studies, I got the chance to live and study in Kazakhstan for half a year. These months were some of the bests of my life, where I got to know myself, but also so many great other people. This also gave me the chance to really indulge myself in the Kazakh culture and learn a new language. After finishing my bachelor’s degree, I took my first trip to Africa with some friends. A few days into the road trip around Namibia I got the message that my dad was in a bad car accident, almost killing him. Luckily, he survived, but it made me realise that life can be much shorter than we expect. This experience taught me to make sure to spend as much time as possible with my loved ones. At the same time, like Avicii said: “one day you’ll leave this world behind, so live a life you will remember.”

This is one of the most heartwarming videos I have ever watched on CZcams, there is so much emotion in this video, it brought me to tears. I never comment on any CZcams video but this one made me so emotional I felt like I had to. Thank you Yes Theory for showing Ammar and his journey to him finally being able to see his home again after many years. Yes Theory is by far the best channel on this platform, I can't wait to see all your future uploads. I also can't wait to follow my dream to visit the beautiful country of Egypt🇪🇬! Much love to you all🩵

Watching this video had me in complete tears from start to finish. Remembering years ago when you all visited Egypt, to watching Ammar continuously elevate the bar in skydiving, to now seeing him do both things simultaneously, seriously brought me so much joy.
As for my dream, I’ve always wanted to go up high, beyond the clouds and into space. Every new place I’d go to as a kid, my first instinct at night would be to look up at the sky and see if there were more stars there versus back home. I’m still taking baby steps towards that goal of reaching space, but skydiving in Egypt would put me a few steps closer in more ways than one! Thanks for everything you guys do, and the message you stand for of seeking discomfort!

I got physical chills seeing the inside of that museum. How beautiful.
I wish I could answer the question. I am still trying to figure out my dreams as a 25 year old.
Edit: After finishing the video, I had chills for nearly the entire video.

Thank you so much for sharing your story Ammar. Leading up to the release of this video I rewatched all the videos that share your story. I feel honored to be one of the millions of people that get to watch you finally become the free child that you deserve. Your story brings one of my first childhood dreams to mind. This dream was born when I first found out that my high school graduation and golden 18th birthday would fall on the same day. As a kid, and still to this day I believe in the impossible. My younger self began planning my graduation/golden birthday. I had recently found out that it is legal to skydive when you turn 18. immediately I pictured skydiving, by myself, into my backyard. That grand entrance would be the perfect way to start my extravagant party. Now my graduation and golden birthday are in 3 months and I now know that my dream is dangerous to follow through on. But having the opportunity for my first skydive to be over the pyramids would fill the heart of my younger child.

My very first dream that I remember was to see the 7 ancient wonders of the world. I vividly remember my first visit to a museum with my mother and sister. We saw ancient statues and paintings, and when the guide explained the meaning and history behind all these things, I was fascinated. Then we came to a large room with 7 glass containers. Inside were models of what I think are the greatest architectural achievements in human history. I was so blown away by the history and meaning behind them.
As you can imagine, I was quite shocked when my mother told me that almost all of them were destroyed, except for the Great Pyramids of Giza.
My mother said to me that she would take my sister and me to Egypt as soon as I grew up. Unfortunately, she died before we could realize our dream.
To this day, it is one of my life goals and I work hard every day to achieve it one day. I want to take my sister with me.

This is everything! Alhamdulilah. Ammar, I have followed you and this team for years now. I have prayed to God to find friends like you all are to each other. I am still looking but I am hopeful. This channel makes me hopeful about humanity. I hope to meet you guys one day. So much to say to you all.
My first dream ever since I can remember my life was to become a medical doctor. I finally became one last July. After many years of struggles. Alhamdulilah. I have many more dreams to achieve. The ones I don't even know yet and the one that I still can't believe I can achieve.

I remember so vividly my first childhood dream was to touch the ocean floor. I seem to have forgotten the inspiration but the feeling of yearning is so vivid. Something seems so tranquil about the sea. Nobody can judge you underwater, nobody can rush you underwater, and you're just alone with yourself and/or people you trust. And this innate thing in me tells me that if I were to listen to the ocean so far below, I would somehow be hearing all of it. All of earths beauty just humming through every current.

Congrats on a very special achievement Ammar and truly enhanced by getting to share the moment with your Father!
One of my earliest dreams was to visit Petra, Jordan. After seeing Indy explore it's beauty in the Last Crusade, it has been at the top of my bucket list and I've promised myself that one day, I'm going to make it a reality!
Keep inspiring others to always seek discomfort ♥️

The first dream I ever had as a kid was to become an architect. To help our environment and still make beautiful buildings. To make it more sustainable and affordable. To make the most beautiful things and let my creativity 100% do its thing.
Now I’m almost 19 and starting my architecture school in a couple months in my dream city with my very own apartment. I couldn’t be happier and I’m beyond excited for this journey to begin. ❤️
    - PS: I of course always wanted to be a princess but that’s very unlikely to happen -> but I mean never say never ❤️

This put a tear in my eye (and that usually NEVER happens!!) So wonderful to get to follow you along your journey and watch you accomplish your dream, Ammar! It's been a true joy all these years! ❤💛
The first dream I had was to fly like Peter Pan and Superman - being free from the ground and soaring through the skies 🤩 I've always thought the closest I could get would be either a wingsuit, a jetpack, or going to space. And as crazy as the last one seems, it's definitely not escaping my bucket list!!!

It's truly a full circle. Seeing your dream coming true, especially alongside your dad, makes us viewers all so happy. I actually cried as I watch your vid. Your story has inspired us a lot, Ammar!! The Yes Theory boys should be proud of what they've been doing for their communities for the past 10 years!
